Nexev
I said MORE badass. Vexen in the games couldn't kill a fly if it walked up to him and handed him a swatter.
Zexaeon
That's not true either, though. xD Vexen fended off Riku, just gathering data. And Sora beats everyone, regardless of how ridiculous it is. Besides, Data Vexen in KH2FM is one of the harder Org members to beat.
Nexev
... I think we are talking about a different fly here. D;

But that's because I was too stupid to put in Fires in my deck. Plus, Sora didn't beat Vexen I believe. Axel came and blew his ass on fire. Data Vexen, from what I've seen, is quite the jabroni to beat.
Nexev
Sora did a number on Vexen, though he seemed better off than Zexion was after his fight, but maybe Zexion was simply willing to put himself more at risk.
iCherry
He pissed Riku off enough for infinite Darkness mode in his battle. He put himself at risk on purpose. Obviously.

Phantom Roxas
Vexen's death in the game was even weird. If Axel managed to explode him, why didn't he use that against all those Dusks, or even against Sora, Roxas, or other people?
iCherry
I think he wanted Sora to beat him. Not sure.He was probably going easy on Roxas, despite how angry he was. Those dusks? ...Maybe probably because it was multiple targets? A better question is why he didn't use it on Marluxia. Would've ended CoM much sooner. Maybe.

Zexaeon
@Vexen Fending: Yes, he fended him off. The scene following the battle, he easily blocks Riku's attack, laughs his creepy laugh in his face, knocks him away, and departs, having got what he wanted. @Vexen Death: First of all, Sora had him beat up, and his guard was quite dropped. If you watch the scene, you see Vexen gets hit with a fireball in the chest - this was inside him, and Axel proceeded to detonate it afterward. So Axel couldn't have done that to the Dusks unless he managed to lodge a bomb in each of their chests. @Zexion Subject: It wasn't a matter of risk - Zexion dropped his guard before the battle and was struck by Riku quite severely. As such, his subsequent performance was hindered (and yet he manages to be Riku's hardest boss despite this). After the fight, he was struck severaly again. So considering that he actually managed to get away (instead of just dying after the final blow like so many others), it's understandable that he would be in worse shape than Vexen was. And then Axel had Repliku finish the job. Poor Zexy. His one fatal error was trusting Axel even a tiny bit.

[/b] Wait.watZexion isn't the hardest for me. >_> Anyway, so it looks like Zexion and Vexen died because their guards were down.Like most villians. Zexaeon
He wasn't? You're saying you had a harder time with Ansem? xD Sorry, but that guy's fight is nerfed in 3D. Also, Vexen was justified - he had just had his ass handed to him, and Sora was not attacking. He figured he'd save himself if he told Sora what he wanted to know. He wasn't expecting Axel to pop in and 'splode him. Zex, however, got cocky. I mean, it was kinda justified - he had no way of knowing that Axel would free Namine, who would disguise herself as Kairi, who would give Riku a motivational speech and hint about how to get out of the light cage, who would then use those hints to get out of the cage and strike Zex. So yeah, while he could have been more careful, you gotta admit no one probably could have predicted that chain reaction.
iCherry
Where did I say Ansem was harder? He was ridiculously easy. >: So Vexen wanted to live, but Axel denied it and owned him....No wonder I think that scene is so awesome. If Zexion had kept his guard up, he might've atleast been able to counterattack. Leave it to Axel to ruin everyone's plans.
Zexaeon
Axel ruined everything in CoM. Marluxia's plan and Zexion's plan were both ruined by him. And Vexen died because of him. And if Zex had had his guard up, then yeah, he probably would have seen the attack coming and wouldn't have had to fight Riku in his pot-shotted condition. And furthermore, who did you find more difficult than Zex?
iCherry
So Axel ruins CoM and then gets smacked silly by Roxas in the next game.Hilarious. Maybe...Final Riku Replica? That's only because I pushed the buttons too slow to dodge roll though. You're probably right about Zex being the hardest boss though. Since I'm a horrible player, I wouldn't know. xD
Zexaeon
Eh, Final Repliku was way harder in the GBA version. He was kinda pitiful in ReCoM.
iCherry
I should try to get the GBA version. But I'm too lazy to be bothered with the Card System again or looking for the game. >.>
Zexaeon
Don't bother. ReCoM reinvented the game, and altered the canon. Going back to the GBA version would just give you overall lower difficulty, less of a battle system, and outdated story.
iCherry
I don't really care about the outdated story part. But I thought you just said some stuff was harder in the GBA CoM though. D: Screw it.Anyway Zex, how are ya?
Zexaeon
Only a few fights are harder in the GBA version. Most of them are easier. And I'm fine~ Just trying to whittle away my boredom.
iCherry
Really? They are? Huh. Here I was thinking everything was nerfed. Whittle away? What methods are you using? o:
Zexaeon
Well, I just drew a pretty shoddy idea of a Dunsparce evolution. I'ma post it in the pokemon thread.
iCherry
Just saw it. I kinda like it. =DIt looks a bit too much like him though, like a longer version. But I shouldn't complain, since it's better than what I could do.
