In total right now, there are 16 official games. The 17th will be released on March 14th.

Touhou 1-12 are all shooting games, and the hardest games I've ever played.

Touhou 7.5, 10.5, and 12.3 are all fighting games.

Touhou 9.5 (and soon 12.5 released in 2 weeks.) are still technically shooting games, but you have to take pictures of your opponent's bullet patterns instead of actually shooting them.

There are plenty of fan-games though. There's a Touhou Mario, a Touhou Castlevania, a Touhou Megaman, and a Touhou Pokemon hack for example.

Now that you've said that, why do I feel like I'll never get pass them?

...I'm sorry?

Touhou Mario? Touhou Pokemon?

Touhou is basically a mega fan base. There are games, books, CDs (with some of the best music evar), manga, a soon-to-be anime featurette, tons of fan games, cosplay, and over 100 characters in the series as of current.

And yes, the shooting games are some of the hardest, most frustrating, most addicting games ever.

If you decide to try and get into Touhou, I'll warn you. It will suck you in.

Incidentally, how many of you are aware of Lar's Touhou Set in Pop Culture section? You should all give it a look. Because it needs more traffic.

I read Soul Eater and I love it so far.

My favorite manga has got to be The Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer though.

Both have pretty well developed characters.

Everyone, take note of what Nex just did here.

The current topic of conversation was of no interest to him. So what did he do? He started a new one. Just like that. Easy as pie. Didn't even mention the previous topic.

Bearing that in mind, I don't wanna hear anymore bullcrap about people saying "What's the topic" because they're too damn lazy to just start a new one.

Hooray.

Does this mean I get to squeeze your boobs?

Anyway, yeah I liked it. It has Franken Stien.

And he is like my favorite character, not because he is a crazy ass mad scientist who seems sortof like a good person like me.

No, it's because he has a nail in his head.

I want one!

@Skul: Wikipedia says the plots diverge pretty badly after a bit so yeah, you should read it.

Chapter 0 is long because it's 3 different stories but all of them develop the characters early one.

Though so far Death Scythe, Franken, and Shinigami are my favorites.

What is this preposterous shinanigan? Such technologies have not yet been developed to accomplish such a rediculious feat.

Anyway, I need to read a good manga. However, the issue is, a lot of ones that have an interesting plot, somehow turn out to hold the romantic development as a very high priority. Those parts just don't interest me, and I would read through them if the manga is worth it or the romance is a very small element, but a lot have romantic development as a high priority.

I need to read one that's good. I was thinking Fairy Tale, maybe, and a couple others.
