Huntar!
Well, this just hit me. Before you call me nuts or say anything hear me out. This isn't to be questioned as if it were fact. Its to be considered as what if it were. What if you could go back in time, creating an alternative reality, where you could re-live your life in certain moments to correct thing you did wrong on or would've done better. In this alternative reality, say you fix everything in your past and something new comes that you'd like to re-do, you can make another alternative reality. Ultimately, through this, one could make his life perfect and designed the way he wants it. Technically speaking he'd be the God of his own reality. This is not intended to be a discussion of religion, but more of a discussion of this concept. I'd put this in debates, but its not meant to be debated, but disussed. You can make your life however you want it. Just creating other dimensions of reality to live your life out in, every time you wish to re-live something. Simple, right? A lifesaver? Discuss. Zimiri of the Muse
wait are we discussing where we would go back in time and fix or simply the whole idea and concept of this conjunction of many words separated by things humans have invented called space/punctuation marks? Infinitus
Wrong. When you change something in the past, you could've made things plenty worse in the present. You never know what you might've changed, which would be bad. You could say only to fix small things, but at some point you'd want to fix something big, which would then change the present for the worse. OR You could've made the world a better place. You could've changed the course of the world, in a way that has changed the History textbooks. Time travelin' be srs business, son.

HORUS
I would do nothing. Perfection is no fun. I prefer being far from perfect. Which is why I'm going to live with my mom for the rest of my life and have no job and never learn to drive. :D

Red_Gengar
Time travel has been found to be very destructive in this dimension by many magical experts, and has almost destroyed multiple dimensions through spontaneous warpholes, which is why they do not exist in this dimension. Thus I would spare everyone the trouble and change nothing.

Muluck
You don't need to go back in time. If you just read the bible, and quit interpreting it on literal terms, but read between the lines. You would see that you are not made to worship god, but you are made to become god. For example, jacobs ladder? Is your spine.Heaven? Is your brain. It says in the bible, that there is heaven in you "brain" that each man or woman has a right to heaven. You see, you are no longer the creation you are the creator. If you read between the lines it will tell you the that the "word of god" is to help you become the creator. Muluck
Not a bad idea' date=' except, that doesn't apply to atheists[/quote'] Atheists don't believe that there is a god.You must first realize your potential before you could even beginning imaging that you or anyone else could be a god. Another example. In the first book of the bible, "God" is mentioned in plurals, as in many gods. Meaning us, the creations becoming god. Transcending to a higher purpose through knowledge, the knowledge being the word. The bible, but if you sit around and accept for its literal purpose then you are misreading the word. I just can't keep up with you.[/quote'] I would I speak like a Philosopher. It is what I am studying. But my friend, the theory of what I am speaking of is incredibly simplistic, if you just believed. Actually Polaris. I would not be classified as a Christian. Because Christians, believe that they are the creations, and that they are to worship god, and prove themselves worthy. What I believe is different. We are the gods, and we are here to learn the knowledge the word "the bible in the christians case" so that we may ascend to our true found glory.
