Hell-Razor
The dark one, i just have to ask are you an idiot how in the world would they charge the same for a bag of weed and a head of lettuce? Cigarettes are legal and are easy to produce, does a pack of cigarettes cost the same as a head of lettuce, i think not so please get your argument right before you go weed bashing like that
Willieh
If people would consume this legally they would not want stronger drugs. Accually. I think that pot is considered a "gateway drug". So it would be quite the opposite. This only applies to preps with no self-control. It's also considered schedule 1 by lawyers. -.- QUICK FACT: The LD50 of marijuana is between 1:20,000 and 1:40,000. Likewise, not ONE death has been recorded to have been caused directly through Marijuana in the history of Medical Records. It is, however, true that at least 100 people a year die from asprin overdose. Not to mention that more brain cells are developed than Marijuana destroys. Lonk
You have a point. However, people can take advantage of the Marijuana being used for paper and such and people will have easier access to the drug than ever. They could just buy some marijuana paper, rip it into shreads, and burn it inside a container and smoke it. It really would not be a good idea to make it legalized enough that it becomes common. I think marijuana should be banned.

Asprin, Aleve and Tylenol can thin your blood causing liver/kidney failure; a VERY painful, bloody death. Why aren't they banned? They are only available by prescription. You can only use some of the drugs if prescribed by the doctor. All drugs have some kind of ban to them, but if the right people give them the right kind of access, people will not develop problems. Marijuana however, is prescribed to only those who are in severe pain (like from cancer). Asprin, Aleve and Tylenol are weaker than Marijuana, which may solve your question to why they are not banned.

Actually those are all available through going to a drug store, picking them up, and buying them. No prescription required. And marijuana is MUCH weaker than Asprin, Aleve, and Tylenol in terms of physical damage.

The Dark One
The dark one' date=' i just have to ask are you an idiot how in the world would they charge the same for a bag of weed and a head of lettuce? Cigarettes are legal and are easy to produce, does a pack of cigarettes cost the same as a head of lettuce, i think not so please get your argument right before you go weed bashing like that[/quote'] The demand for cigarettes and the demand for weed is radically different. When demand skyrockets, so does price. Weed is as easily, if not easier, to produce than tobacco (the plant requires less specific conditions) and has a far lesser demand. Ie. People smoke less weed a day than they do cigarettes. And if the day came when weed was smoked with the same regularity as cigarettes, we'd have a pretty serious problem on our hands. And at Death Metal:, you were sounding all great and reasonable until you threw in that he had to listen to whatever doctors tell him. Yes, you listen to doctors. Because they, not you, have the facts. Don't be a rebellious fool. This being said, most, or many doctors, will agree that weed is a substance of a limited harmful nature. I think you'll note that the government takes an anti-halucinogenic stance on principle rather than because of the harmful effects of these hallucinogens. LSD, for example, is near-totally harmless. For whatever, reason, it was decided at some point that mental impairment was a bad thing. Alcohol can be consumed, in limited amounts, without significantly impairing your mental state. Cigarettes don't do much but make you feel a little bit better. These substances are legal. See the trend? Oh, and they're also cashcows, so the government really couldn't illegalize them without disastrous consequences.

Willieh
Lol. Unless relieving stress and making you a little happier is "funking up your life" marijuana doesn't funk up your life.
