Lyfe.
It really isn't that bad. Over 93% of flu cases in North America this year were cases of the Swine Flu

Lemniscate
For me, it was fairly mild (I have a very strong immune system). It manifested itself more as: Cold symptoms, Terrible Headache, slight balance issues, upset stomach. It lasted for about four days. ~/Coolio Prime\~
It's easily transferable, that's basically the worst thing about it. Just another media scare. Bird Flu anyone?
Jacoby746
People always think that the Swine Flu (H1N1, whatever) can kill you. It can only kill people with a weak immune system (babies, old people, ect.), just like the regular flu.
Amethyst Phoenix
Technically this "Swine Flu" is a combination of human flu, bird flu, and swine flu, making it different from regular swine flu, thus H1N1. I'm entirely against political correctness (I also find the word to be an oxymoron), though. Regular Flu is more deadly than Swine Flu/H1N1. Oh, and be sure to wash your hands so you don't catch overblown media scare. You know, because it killed some people with dirty outdated medical equipment in less advanced and prosperous countries, a world power certainly stands no chance, amirite? I mean, our planet's only been lit on fire, drowned in a sea, frozen solid, and had this repeated several times while it was in it's infancy! A large rock that will burn up in the atmosphere if it even hits us is definitely going to be the apocalypse. Also, it's not like we can blow it up or anything, we'd just sit around and roast marshmallows, because that makes sense.

However, I'm not even sure if the meteor is arriving around 12, 12 2012 or w/e, and all we need to do is send a gravitational probe to guide the meteor away from the Earth. Though, they were the more "unnoticable" things. I barely felt my headache when I was throwing up and what not. Balanccing was only noiticed when I walked (obviously) I was dead tired. All I wanted to do was sleep. And at one point, I seriously thought I was going to die. I had this stomach cramp that would NOT go away, no matter what I did. Finally I was able to get to the doctors and they gave me a shot in my ass and it made it better,

Lazer Yoshi
The flu that's going around seems pretty serious, but it seems like everyone has caught it.I don't think I've gotten it. But I may have gotten it back in February. I was sick the entire week. It kept getting better, and it started out terribly.
