This card makes things interesting.

How it works:

You want to Summon an Effect Monster onto the field without penalty, you can but you must also discard 1 Effect Monster from your hand. If you can't you must pay 500 Life Points. Same with Spells, if you activate an Equip Spell Card, you must discard an Equip Spell Card as well.

This is worse than Speed World, because it effects Spells AND monster cards.

I'm sure people will dislike this card, since I myself find Speed World a tough card to work with and see very little benefits.

But if your strategy is just to use a few cards in a duel then this card might be for you, as it will hinder your opponent more than yourself.

I think that the wording you are looking for is more like "Vampire Lord"s wording.

My suggestion for the OCG fix:

When a player activates a Spell Card or Summons a monster(s)' date=' they must discard 1 card of the same Type (Normal Monster, Effect Monster, Ritual Monster, Fusion Monster, Synchro Monster or Spell Card). If they cannot, they must pay 500 Life Points instead.

[/quote']

I know its impossible to have Synchros or Fusions to discard, but they at least make someone pay Life instead of being for free. Also, I'm guessing it doesn't include Traps and that you meant that specific Type of card and not just any monster to discard for one).

Hope that was what you meant^

I like the card and I see how it is related to Speed World although I first thought of Clear World after reading it for some reason.

Name remainds me of "Alchemy" (equivalent exchange is the rule for alchemy in "Full Metal Alchemist" )

Thanks for the fix. But the effect also means specific Spell Cards as well. I figured I can list them all or just use the word "Category" to sum it up.

(Normal Spell, Equip Spell, Quick-Play Spell, Continuous Spell, Ritual Spell or Field Spell Card)

If it looks longer, it will look cooler ;D and that way it wouldn't need to be explained with rulings. But if you want to also list all Monster Types and Attributes, I'm guessing its right to put "category" xD LOL

anyways, its a nice card. It will take out the card advantage of both players. Works well with Infernity Monsters, Demon Roar Dieties, Zombies and Dark World Monsters

by category I believe he means Effect or Normal...You would need to list everything...-_- you'd just need (Normal, or Effect)

I think the "500 Life Points instead" is easier than "for each Spell Card activated and monster(s) Summoned because, it somehow sounds like its accumulating the payment... ^-^"

If that's it, I guess it means (Effect or non-Effect) ?

It is accumulating payments.

If you activate a Quick-Play Spell Card, and then summon a Normal Monster, but you have no other cards of those catergories in your hand, you will have to pay 500 Life Points each to activate the Quick-Play and summon the Vanilla. So the total payment would be 1000.

No counter mechanics necessary, its a continuous Field Spell Card. If this card is activated at the start of the duel, it would only allow 15 cards or less to be played by both players before it wipes out a players 8000 LPs. So this card really stresses the mind of both players on what to do next.

Its really more of a "I hate this card" type of thing.

Only use this card if you only intend you use a few beatstick cards as your strategy.
