Situational Gambling Cards
Truth or Dare (Last updated on 11.30.09)]1st Edition Common version

TruthorDareFINAL_11-30-09.jpg+CardDestructionRESIZED.jpg

Treat this card as "Unlimited" (3 per deck allowed in both formats).

As you can see this is a staple card.

The "Truth" effect benefits both players in a duel.

The "Dare" effect can double benefit the controller or can double benefit the opponent depending on what you toss.

This is a fun card to play but is very situational.

SCENARIO #1 [TRUTH EFFECT] - "Truth or Dare + Card Destruction Combo"

Very 1st Turn

YOU: Draw 6 cards, you activate "Truth or Dare". You show your opponent all 5 cards in your hand. It's revealed to your opponent you have "Card Destruction" in your hand.

You gain the following amount of Life Points: 300 x 5 = 1500.

You activate "Card Destruction" and both players must discard their entire hand. Both players must now draw the same amount of cards they discarded, in this case you discarded 4 cards so now you will draw 4 fresh cards that your opponent does not know what they are.

This is a perfect way to gain Life Points without the repercussions of this card's effect. The only problem is it does require you to get rid of cards that might be useful to you, but atleast at the same time you could be potentially getting rid of useful cards from your opponent's hand as well by playing "Card Destruction".

SCENARIO #2 [DARE EFFECT] - "Truth or Dare's 1800 Life Point Gain"

Very 1st Turn

YOU: Draw 6 cards, you activate "Truth or Dare". Use choose to toss a coin and get Heads. You now check the 6 fresh card's your opponent has initially drawn.

You gain the following amount of Life Points: 300 x 6 = 1800.

This scenario allows the maximum LP gain of 1800 from a fresh draw. If you use Infinite Cards then activate this card you can theoretically go beyond this amount of Life Points gained.

Additional Tip: It's ideal to activate this card when its the only card in your hand.

Miscellaneous Cards
Realm of Equal Exchange (Last updated on 11.27.09)]1st Edition Common version

RealmofEqualExchangeFINAL_11-27-09.jpg

Treat this card as "Unlimited" (3 per deck allowed in both formats).

It was kind of hard to write up a lore for this card that is OCG and understandable. But I think its pretty self-explanatory.
The Ancient Spirit of Battle (Last updated on 11.30.09)]1st Edition Common version

TheAncientSpiritofBattleFINAL_11-30.jpg

Treat this card as "Limited" (1 per deck allowed in Traditional Format only).

See the tiny man standing on the giant sword, that represents your monster. See the giant warrior holding the sword, that represents your Equip item. That giant warrior equips to your monster and makes it basically invincible, but at a very high cost.

It just occurred to me this card is EXTREMELY over powered. It might seem balanced but if you just think about it, you can really do some FTK/OTK damage using this card. I might have to re-balance it due to its deadliness.

SCENARIO - "Using The Ancient Spirit of Battle to cause major Damage"

Very 1st Turn

OPPONENT: Summons Axe Raider and sets 1 face-down card (Mirror Force) and ends his turn. Opponent's LPs = 8000

YOU: You currently have 8000 Life Points, you draw "The Ancient Spirit of Battle" and "Kuriboh", You summon Kuriboh onto the field and activate "The Ancient Spirit of Battle". You paid 3000 LPs and equip it to your Kuriboh who now has 100/100 ATK/DEF. You declare an attack on your opponent's Life Points directly with Kuriboh, your opponent activates Mirror Force but it does not work, its negated and you bypassed his Axe Raider. Your current LP amount = 5000, so you inflict 5000 worth of damage to your opponent's Life Points and end your turn.

2nd Turn

OPPONENT: 3000 LPs - Your opponent is on his 1st Main Phase, you choose not to pay the additional 1000 LPs to keep "The Ancient Spirit of Battle" and remove it from play instead. Etc... Etc...

YOU: 5000 LPs
Copynin (Last updated on 11.29.09)]

1st Edition Common version

CopyninFINAL_11-29-09.jpgCopycat5DS1-EN-C-1E-RESIZED.png

Treat this card as "Unlimited" (3 per deck allowed in both formats).

Once per turn, during your opponent’s Battle Phase, if your opponent declares an attack

on this card with a monster he/she controls, you can toss a coin:•Heads: Damage calculations

are applied normally, but this card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle this turn,

and will gain the same ATK, DEF, and Effect (in addition to it’s own Effect) of the monster

your opponent used to declare an attack on this card for as long as either monster remains

on the field.•Tails: During the Damage Step your opponent adds 500 more to the damage

calculations. (You can only have the same ATK, DEF, and Effect of 1 monster at a time

and this card’s original ATK and DEF is not added into it’s own Effect when tossing Heads.)

This is a homage yet polar opposite card to Copycat. The "Copynin", which is short for The Copy Ninja.

Copynin is a polar opposite to Copycat.

COPYCAT (Light, Level 1, Spellcasters, Effect can be used immediately, has 0 ATK/DEF)

COPYNIN (Dark, Level 4, Warrior, Effect can only be used when attacked, has Some ATK/DEF)

As you can see Copynin is holding the Mirror of Copycat and also has the 3rd Eye and his Sword. All those items represent him using them to copy the ATK, DEF and Effect of his enemy.

Using this card's Copy Effect can either benefit you or backfire causing you more damage to your Life Points
Test of the 3 Monkeys (Last updated on 11.25.09)] LIMITED EDITION

Gold Ultra Rare version

Testofthe3MonkeysFINAL_11-25-09.jpg

Treat this card as "Unlimited" (3 per deck allowed in both formats).

A homage to "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil"

How would you use this card?

This card will test your mind. I will let you decide what is the best way to play this card.

-----
Lifeforce Shield (Last updated on 12.01.09)] 1st Edition Common version

LifeforceShieldFINAL_12-01-09.jpg

Treat this card as "Limited" (1 per deck allowed in both formats).

This is a defensive Trap Card that does something similar to Swords of Revealing Light which is a Spell Card.

This card essentially stalls the duel for 3 turns much like Swords of Revealing Light, but in a different way, while Swords prevents your opponent's monsters from attacking at all for 3 turns, this card doesn't quite do the same, instead it stops your opponent's monsters from attacking your Life Points directly. If you have monsters on your side of the field, your opponent can still attack your monsters, which can still cause damage to your Life Points. So this shield isn't an absolute defense. It does have its limits.

Just like Swords of Revealing Light being "Limited", this card is also made to be "Limited" as well.

TIP: You can can play this card whether you have monsters on your side of the field or not, but its better to use this card when you don't have any monsters on your side of the field yet. This card can buy you some time until you can muster an offense.

Doomed Cards
Book of the Doomed (Last updated on 11.28.09)] 1st Edition Common version

BookoftheDoomedFINAL_11-28-09.jpg

Treat this card as "Limited" (1 per deck allowed in both formats).

This is an EXTREMELY MENACING card to play. This card may seem to have a cheap cost at first, but that is how the Book of the Doomed sucks you in. It helps the controller of this card gain a field advantage but not long after, it will take away any hand advantage the controller may have. Once this card is played, it becomes the focal point of the duel from that moment on. If you discard this card while its on the field, your opponent then gains the power of the Book. The only TRUE way to get rid of this card is to discard it from your hand only. But would you discard such a powerful card?

The "Dare" effect is good in healing/burn Decks. You either gain Life Points and see your opponent's hand, or show your hand to your opponent and inflict damage instead of increasing Life. Although 200 sounds like too little to me. What about.... 400? It would be worth gaining that much if your opponent got to see every card in your hand, (for the Truth effect that is, maybe 300 for the Dare one because its a little more rewarding)

I like this effect, its reative and pic looks challenging in a funny way xD

No neither the Truth or Dare effects burn damage, they only add Life Points and Show Cards. No burning though.

Also I came up with 200 because if you show your opponent 5 cards in your hand, that amounts to a cool 1000 Life Point gain. You can manipulate this gain with Infinite Cards in play and accumulating many cards in your hand before activating this card.

That's a little hard to do though.

I know there is no burning in your effect. but heal-burn Decks work by "increasing" your opponent's life and activating card effects that change the "healing" into "burn" (example Bad Reaction of Simochi)

I was wondering' date=' why do you use your own templates for cards is it for the tiny st in 1st edition?

[/quote']

Not just because of that. I try to make cards look as real as possible. YCM is lacking in 2 areas: The font alignment and the outer borders. These are dead giveaways that the card is not real. The only thing I'm trying to figure out now is the proper font size. Once I figure that out, I think I will have a very accurate matching style to the original. I also printed out my cards the exact same size as real cards, everything matches up almost precisely. Just need to work out a few kinks.

nice heal and burn effect' date=' will make it a very versatile card

Personally though I don't see exactly how the picture matches with the card name though

8.6/10

Believe it or not, its quite hard finding the right type of truth or dare pic without it being some realism type photo/imagery.

The pic I chose basically represents someone pointing at you and issuing you a Truth or Dare challenge. Best I could do. Thx for the rate.

I re-balanced the "The Ancient Spirit of Battle" card. Because before, by only paying 1000, if you draw this card while your Life Points were fresh at 8000, you could easily use this card to set up 7000 worth of damage. I thought that was too powerful, so I changed the pay amount to 3000, which as far as I know, that pay amount only exist in 1 card, which is a Japanese only card. I think 3000 is a good number, because even if you draw this card from the beginning the most damage you will do is 5000. Which is the highest amount for a Level 12 Fusion Monster. This gives the opponent a fighting chance at least.
