This is a deck he made in WC09. I'm sure Slifer can be run in 3s that game.

Slifer is playable in that game. But the way the gods's efects are written' date=' they are hardly limit worthy.

 

He can only be run three because he technically isn't a real card and you need to use AR or something to get it.

Slifer is a legit card in that game. using an AR can get it right away, or you can wait for the game's 'Downloads & News' feature to have Slifer up for download.

I think its because of his "Phoenix Mode"' date=' and that it forces the Special Summon to be either:

1- face-up and activate

2- activate, while face-down

3- Konami's oh-so brilliant programming strikes again

must... find... room... for... Foolish Burial + Shallow Grave...

 

Why? For Foolish Burialing Slifer and Shallow Graving it? Doesn't work. It can be Shallow Graved. But at the end of the turn that it comes face-up it's effect kicks in sending it back to the grave since it was Special Summoned. I tried it with Obelisk thinking it would stay and it went to the grave at the end of the turn after being flipped.

Why? For Foolish Burialing Slifer and Shallow Graving it? Doesn't work. It can be Shallow Graved. But at the end of the turn that it comes face-up it's effect kicks in sending it back to the grave since it was Special Summoned. I tried it with Obelisk thinking it would stay and it went to the grave at the end of the turn after being flipped.

 

It will stay if you Don't flip it. trust me a DEF position slifer will be fine. if it's face-down it's effect doesn't kick in to make it leave, then it stays after that turn like the spirit loophole.

...Why? The main reason for the Gadgets if for Slifer to NOT die be battle against something that gets around him.

 

Incidentally, now I realize that I need MBaaS or something.
