((Beelzemon's not dead Y-tak...he's just been corrupted by Huanglongmon and now has two different evolutionary paths, Nohemon->Valdurmon or Boogeymon->Beelzemon, and he's using the former to keep from being discovered. Have Kayla say that Beelzemon's on the Silence or something.))

 

"Daemon...Belphemon...Beelzemon..." Jack said, his eyes closed "And another Digimon, one that's not a Demon Lord... One big enough to require that gigantic shield to contain him." He picked up a handful of dust and threw it in the air and, sure enough, the massive dome shield lit up like a Christmas tree. "I wouldn't be surprised if whoever was in that shield's still there, just veiled from our view."

 

"How do you know that?" Marcus asked, surveying the damaged area, Blade still attached to his wrist. "We're alone." he added

 

"Demon Lords are powered by human DigiSoul, and I can sense it." Jack said "The fourth combatant was also using human DigiSoul, but he wasn't a Demon Lord, he wasn't strong enough."

((Alright. I was just confused.))

 

Kayla, after finishing her "meal", felt the strange urge to go to the storage holds.

She went down into the dark depths of the hull, with only a flashlight, until she heard a strange sound.

She turned off her flashlight, but, as she did so, a dark-green glow erupted from her chest as her Seal of Lust activated. At the same time, a light-green glow emerged from nearby.

"Hello? Anyone there?"

Nohemon was about to jump on Leomon when Sam and Kotemon grabbed him.

"Come on now buddy, its not like you're Beelzemon is it?" Sam asked him nervously. The champion stood up and the boy and Kotemon were lifted. Nohemon was about to shake them off when he realised what they were saying.

"Oh yeh right," Nohemon said dedigivolving into Impmon, "I forgot."

Kotemon smacked Impmon lightly on the back of his head with his sword, "You can't forget now. Not if you want to see life outside this ship again."

"Okay fine," Sam cut in, "Now lets go do something nice and none demon related.

Caleb decided to follow the Demon Lord hybrid, meeting up with Leormon and Commandramon along the way.

 

"Beelzemon's here." Commandramon reported, falling in step next to Caleb on his right hand side, "Though, he's got Nohemon as his evolution now, I'm sure it's him."

 

"Good." Caleb said, nodding once.

 

"Why good?" Leormon asked, walking on Caleb's left hand side.

 

"Beelzemon was supposed to be the first Demon Lord to pick up where Lilithmon left off. If he's here on the Deafening Silence, he can't exactly do that can he?"

 

"I guess not" The two Digimon agreed.

 

Caleb briefly destabilized and collapsed against the wall for support "Leormon, go with Kayla and protect her if she needs it." He commanded, "Commandramon, help me to my room and get Celeste." His hand briefly destabilized but he clenched his teeth and forced it back to normal "Don't tell anyone what's happening."

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon scoffed slightly. "'weak' human? That wasn't three IceDevimon she were fighting, those were the ones left. Given the number I noticed flying away earlier, the size of the village, Ceila's exhaustion and the average size of such raiding groups, I'd hazard that there were somewhere in the vicinity of 60-70 IceDevimon led by at least one Perfect-Level of some sort, either killed or scared off by my human by the time we got there. For a Champion-equivalent human faux-digimon, that's rather good, especially considering she had to wander who knows how far before that."

 

He reached over and touched Ceila's hair briefly. "I can't make her wake up without risking damage to her Digisoul, and even if I did, there's no guaranty she could Digivolve me to LordKnightmon at the moment."

Kayla tried to find the owner of the Gluttony seal.

"Hello? I'm not going to hurt you. I have what's left of Lilithmon inside of me."

Sam and his two digimon were looking through the ship. They didn't know how long they would be on it, so they wanted to know where things were. So far they had seen the cafeteria and had a nice meal, they had managed to get Sam some different clothes, though they were'nt what he usually would pick and they had gotten lost down a corridor and got back to where they had started.

"This place is huge," Kotemon said eventually, "I don't know how people can remember where they sleep."

"It's not that big and I'm pretty sure they don't go Hey I know lets go down this dimly lit corridor." Sam told the reptile digimon.

"Ok I'm sorry. My bad." Impmon had been silent for around five minutes and his ears twitched everynow and again. "Whats up buddy?" He was asked.

"I think that we're being followed."

"Lucemon killed between 57 and 67 IceDevimon when he and that traitor Duke were talking. So, that leaves the 3 we saw her fighting plus the Perfect that got away or died first. Still, she was fighting on her home field and we've traveled across two continents and she STILL hasn't woken up. I think it's about time to upgrade her to comatose." Imperialdramon sighed "Besides that, if she doesn't wake up soon, I'll have to fight DarkOmnimon in my Dragon Mode with you and both our partners on my back. We'll die for sure."

 

((Y-tak, you don't seem to understand what happened. Beelzemon and Impmon are still the same mon, Impmon just has a choice of Beelzemon's line or Nohemon's line. It's not like with ChaosGallantmon who got separated into Megidramon and Gallantmon, Impmon can still Digivolve to Beelzemon, he's just no longer a Demon Lord. I'm planning on having Megidramon take up that burden, but for now, there are only 6 Demon Lords.))

 

Commandramon barged through the doors to the infirmary "Celeste, we have a bit of a medical emergency." He said, grabbing the human girl's hand. "It's Caleb, he's dying."

 

Leormon, meanwhile, had evolved into Raiamon and was watching Kayla speak to whatever was in the darkness This didn't happen last time. he thought Or at least, I don't think it did... Whatever, either way, I've got to protect her... Or kill her... Whatever will prevent this from happening again.

Mistymon raised an eyebrow. "I was watching Lucemon at the time. He killed the escapees yes, but he arrived after the majority of them were already killed, and if he pursued any, he would have found Ceila before we did. Since he didn't, we can assume the ones he killed were the ones fleeing. Also, 'travel across continents' isn't a useful measurement of time considering you can cross them in a little over an hour. She's been asleep for less time than a brisk nap."

He sighed. "But fine, give me a second."

He let his hands glow briefly as he drew out his swords, about to stab one into the ground before quickly remembering what was under him wasn't earth, and instead held it to the sky and removed his hand, leaving his flare sword levitating in mid air above him. He raised his ice sword and made five quick pokes around the flame one, leaving behind a chain of connected spheres. The spheres tumbled from the sky, around his shoulder, and became a solid object.

 

He crept as near to Ceila as he possibly could, and hooped the necklace around her. There was a quick pause as she blinked out of existence.

 

"That will set her out of reality, weightless and without impact on the physical world. We'll have to pick her up again after the battle, but she won't be in any danger or annoyance to us." He said after a moment.

 

"As for me, you'll have to let me get out and levitate when we actually start to fight. They're faster than me in the air, but I figure they won't be doing much running away."

Celeste hauled Caleb onto a table, then sighed.

"I can stabilize him for now, but we need to go back to Freeport or another such base if you want him to have a chance of surviving." Celeste told them as she started to work on Caleb.

 

Meanwhile, Kayla had found Impmon, who was illuminated by a glowing seal.

"Please don't run away! I just want to talk!" Kayla pleaded.

Impmon looked behind him and noticed a girl standing there. Sam and Kotemon followed his line of vision and saw the girl aswell.

"Sorry, can we help you?" Sam asked. Impmon took a step closer to the girl.

"I feel like I know you." He took a deep breath in, "Do I know you?"

Kotemon scratched his head. "You know what Sam. You're right, this place does just keep getting weirder."

Kayla was annoyed at this point.

"Do you not see the glowing Seal on you?!? Do you not see a similar Seal on me?!? I'm Kayla Bines, and I hold what is left of Lilithmon inside of me!!!"

Impmon looked at the girl, but he couldn't see anything. He then pulled up his scarf, the seal on his chest had disappeared. He could definatley sense something about the girl, then again she could just be crazy.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not a demon lord why would I have a seal." He looked back to the others, they were just as confused as he was. Sam stepped in at this point.,

"Anyway, how could you have Lillithmon inside of you. Thats like some kind of backwards BioMerge."

Kayla, royally pissed, had glowing red eyes at this point.

"I'll show you!" she roared, before a dark flame engulfed her.

"BioLadyDevimon, Dark Mega Digivolve to...Lilithmon!"

Where Kayla stood was the spitting image of Lilithmon, yet Kayla retained her hairstyle, and Lilithmon's now red eyes seemed hostile. Furthermore, both of her hands were Nazar Nails, with a glowing Seal of Lust on her chest, just above her ample bosom, and her attire looked more suited for combat.

"Now do you believe me?"

 

((And yes, the lack of color in her dialogue is intentional.))

"Oh thats not good." Kotemon said. Sam pulled out his digivice and readied it.

"This would be a good time to test out your new powers, but there aint enough space. I think your gonna have a reunion." He charged Impmon with power.

"Impmon warp digivolve to... Beelzemon!" The former demon lord pulled out his shotguns. "Please I don't want to hurt you. You're human, and your on Huanglongmon's side. At least I think you are." Kotemon pulled on Sam's sleeve.

"Come one lets get a bit further back, this may get ugly."

((Not exactly what I had in mind Y-tak... Caleb was supposed to be in his room collapsed, that's why he had Commandramon go off alone to get help, he wouldn't need to do that if he had the strength to walk far enough to go back to the infirmary))

 

Raiamon stayed silent, hidden just around the corner so that Kayla and Impmon couldn't see him What is she doing? he thought, trying to remember what happened the last time Lilithmon died She didn't turn against us... But, then again, she wasn't this far gone... He realized, his eyes closed and focused She wouldn't betray us...But Lilithmon.... What if... Raiamon's thoughts kept going along the same path No, Lilithmon couldn't have... There's no way... He heard her Digivolve and roared loudly "Raiamon Warp Digivolve to! BanytoLeomon!" He then leaped in between the two, facing Lilithmon "You two, what are your Megas?" He asked, drawing his Dan Kon and holding it in an offensive stance.

Kayla, mostly in control of herself, was still startled.

"This IS my Mega! At least, now it is. I'm still Kayla Bines! I'm in control of myself! Honest!"

Beelzemon placed the shotguns back into their holsters and stood straight.

"This is one of my megas. Huanglongmon gave me another, but i have no idea what it is yet." He turned to see Sam and Kotemon walking back towards them cautiously. "My partner here didn't think it would be a good idea to test what it is, this place is just too small."

"Well that was extremley anticlimactic." Sam whispered to Kotemon.

"First of all, Demon B@$%, I wasn't talking to you, second of all, I have no doubt that you are in control of yourself, Lilithmon." His Dan Kon ignited and he slashed it diagonally at Lilithmon "King Lion!" He roared, looking over his shoulder at Beelzemon and swearing under his breath Great, now I have two Demon Lords I gotta watch. He thought, closing his fist "Flash Bantyo Punch!" He shouted, sending his flaming fist at Beelzemon "Kotemon, unless your Mega is human sized, get out of here." He ordered, looking at Sam "And get him out of here too. I'll deal with you later."

"DARKNESS CLAW!" Beelzemon shouted using the attack to break the incoming blast. "What the HELL was that? I'm on your side!"

"Really," Kotemon backed him up, "He is." Sam was a little nervous, the fusion between him and Samy had made him good again. Unfortunatley it had also made him jittery, nervous and easily distracted.

"Look Kotemon, I think we should do as he says and move."

"What are you saying? We can't just leave Beelzemon here!"

"Its ok Kotemon. I understand why he thinks I'm evil." Beelzemon took a step forward and stood next to Bantyleomon. "I'm here to help." He said taking out one shotgun and pointing it towards the Lillithmon creature.

Vincent had been crouching at the edge of the pool for a while, but still no reply came from Ogudomon.

"Ah, sir? Ogudomon? What should I and BlackGuilmon do now exactly?" Vincent asked hesitantly.

BlackGuilmon remained unconsious, but his tail was beginning to stir about.

 

"Ah, okay-" RookChessmon said, slightly put off by how brutal AncientVolcamon was getting, "Okay, y'know how I said I had a spirit in my head? Well I don't know if you believe me yet, but he's ranting that if you don't hand over the Spirit, then he'll tear you limb from limb. And no you won't get the Spirit back, but if you go along with him, at least you'll live..."

"Please, don't hurt me. I just wanted some kinship. Ever since Lilithmon, the original Lilithmon, turned me into this hybrid, all normal food tastes horrible. I can only go 24 hours or so before I start to weaken, then I get this incredible dry feeling in my mouth, and I just want anything to quench my thirst. Go out into the driest part of the world and stay there without water for an entire day and you will just begin to imagine this thirst that I feel. And the only thing that can cure it is the fractal code of a Virus-atrribute Digimon, preferably from Nightmare Soldiers or Dark Area. I've been classifed as a rare type of Digimon called a "Digital Cannibal", a Digimon that gets its sustenance from the fractal code of other Digimon."

BanchoLeomon tossed his sword into his other hand and placed it at Beelzemon's throat "Drop the gun." He said slowly "Now." he pressed the blade into Beelzemon's throat, not enough to draw blood or restrict his breathing, just enough to scare him. "We'll deal with your accomplices later." He then glared at Lilithmon and pointed one flaming finger at her "Quit your lying sob story." He commanded, not so much speaking the words as growling them "You're a Demon Lord, I don't care how much pain you're in, I don't care how sorry you claim to be for all the people you've killed for fun, and I don't care that you're a Digital Cannibal." He paused and let a grin flash across his face "Though, if you want, I can put you out of your misery without a second thought."

 

"You'll give him your own data core of course." Ogudomon said in his own voice as data started to flow out of Vincent and into BlackGuilmon "Of course, you'll probably die but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for my new Demon Lord."

"You got some kind of mental disorder or something?" Beelzemon asked not putting the shotgun down, "Your threatening her because shes a demon lord, but you want me to stop pointing my gun at the same target. Now that just doesnt make sense."

Kotemon ran over to BantyoLeomon's side and pulled on his coat.

"You know he is actually fighting for Huanglongmon." The reptile digimon looked between the three digimon before him and Sam to his back, "We're all fighting for Huanglongmon. It's just some of us aren't exactly up to a major challenge yet."

"Please," Sam asked, "Take the sword away from his throat."

"I have a problem with letting my opponents keep their guns." BanchoLeomon said, pressing the sword a millimeter closer to Beelzemon's throat, restricting his breathing as little as possible. "Get lost Kotemon." He growled, kicking the Rookie away from him "And don't touch the GAKU-RAN. Ever." He then turned his attention back at Beelzemon "Option one, you shoot Lilithmon and then we have a free for all, which improves my odds. Option two, you turn your gun ninety degrees and shoot me, which hurts my odds. I'm not a betting Mon, so drop the gun. Both of them." he added, noting the second shotgun in its holster.
