"Lillithmon?" Sam asked the flying demon, "I never expected her to fall... again."

"She was always too cocky for her own good." Phelesmon mused, "And I prefer this form than my true self, because this one gives me the ability to fly. As Beelzemon I have Behemoth agreed, but he can't float."

 

Sammy had managed to hoist Kotemon onto his back and was now near the bottom of the mountain. He was exhausted, but he needed to keep going. If he didn't, they may lose what they were looking for.

But, Sammy thought, If I get hurt because I'm not being careful, Kotemon isn't awake to help me. Thinking it over in his head, Sammy put Kotemon on the floor. And sat down next to him.

"This is gonna take a long time."

[Blackstone Dresden]

In response, Daemon ripped Sam's Digivice out of his hands and crushed it in his claws "That's because you're still using this worthless hunk of scrap Digizoid, I gave you a new Digivice when Rosemon took back the Plant DigiMemory, use that one." He commanded, dropping the remnants of Sam's Digivice into the volcano's molten lava core, where they disintegrated into random bits and bytes of data. "Beelzemon is not your strongest form. You have a mode beyond that called Blast Mode that gives you wings and a larger gun. You probably forgot that bit when Sam was put under your control."

"Hahaha. You area fool Daemon." Phelesmon shouted, "You may have forgotten this, but we destroyed that worthless scrap you gave us. With your own blast. You tried to blow up the Gungnir, but Sam threw it back towards your own attack destroying the device adn deflecting your shot." Phelesmon began to circle Daemon, "Maybe you've started to lose your memory? I mean how can a demon remember everything he see's, when there's a Seraphimon trying to burst out."

He's trying to bait him, Sam thought, Why?

"My memory is as sharp as my trident." Phelesmon said going up close to Daemon's face, "And it just shows that I don't need to mode change to show my abilites. Unlike some people."

Ah. I see now, Sam began to realise what he was doing, "You know what Phelesmon maybe he feels the need to get more powerful. I mean it's not as if he's the strongest of the Demon Lords. Lucemon only digivolves to ultimate, and he could destroy Daemon here without even flapping a wing."

 

Sammy woke from his sleep. He felt something strange as if Sam needed him, but nowhere near as painful as that. "Kotemon?" He tried to wake the small digimon, no luck. He jumped up and grabed his partner, swinging him onto his back. Sammy made sure that the way was safe and began to run towards the signal on his digivice.

"Come on kotemon wake up", He said between breaths, "I think I know what we've been looking for."

[Mr. Hyde]

Carly, still surfaced, stared at the giant WaruSeadramon. "What..the hell is that thing." Beta grunted.

"It..it's a WaruSeadramon...but i've never seen one that big before!"

 

Zach scratched Terriermon's head. "So what do we do now. The Demon Lords already snatched the DigiMemory. We really need to stop getting so distracted." Lance tightened his fist.

"We need to stop messing with Peons...and start aiming for those god damn Demon Lords!" Zach jumped back.

"But we're hardly a match for them. Well you aren't bro, you have a Royal Knight. And Tyler might stand a chance since Frigus is the spawn of two Royal Knights. But me...I don't know what Terriermon's gonna do." Terriermon held Zach's hand with his tiny paw.

"Don't worry. We'll try. And i'll give 115%." He smiled.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"When you Mode Change, you gain wings and a bigger gun, when I Mode Change, I grow to a whole new level." Daemon pointed out, taking Phelesmon's trident and snapping it in half, dropping the top half in the lava below "Need I remind you that Ogudomon has 2 Demon Lord replacements already? Minervamon can take her seat as the embodiment of Lust, and I think the Fallen Knight can take your seat as the embodiment of Gluttony." He charged up his Dark Spreader attack "Do you REALLY want to fight a Super Ultimate now that you're permanently locked at Ultimate?"

 

"I'm not even a day old!" Frigus complained "You're expecting me to participate in this big battle? I can only Digivolve to Champion, you guys can all go Mega, Mom can even go Super Ultimate...."

[Mr. Hyde]

Tyler sighed. "That's true...but we won't fight right now Friggy. We'll fight when we become stronger together." Lance and Zach both nodded.

"I haven't even gotten a chance to charge all my energy into Terriermon yet. He has all the experience from the Gizamon he was. All he needs is the energy." Terriermon giggled.

"Yeah. I still haven't gotten used to these ears though," Terriermon said, lifting his giant ears. Aero swooped down and gave her son a hug.

"Don't worry baby...you'll get stronger along with Tyler."

"That was my favorite Trident", Phelesmon said, "You are gonna pay. Sam remind the good demon over here what digi-soul feels like."

"Gladly." Sam charged up purple energy flowing out of him and concentrating on his hands. He began to shoot bolts of his digi-soul at the Demon Lord of Wrath. Phelesmon flew backwards away from the attacks that were coming his way. Snapping his fingers another trident appeared in his hand.

"DEMON'S SHOUT!" Phelesmon screamed using the attack as he continued on his reverse course.

 

Sammy had gotten closer to his target and his digivice was emitting a high pitched shrieking sound. He also heard explosions coming from the distance.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Wait a second! You said 'third' movie, in the past tense! Eclipse hasn't even been released yet!" Daniel pointed out.

"Caleb, what's going on here?" Celeste joined in.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Mom, you're embarrassing me!" Frigus said, ducking out of the way and looking away "Jeez..." He muttered, rubbing the back of his head with his claws "Can't I get a little dignity?"

 

Daemon didn't even flinch as the attacks harmlessly fizzled off his skin. He raised his arm, aiming, not at Phelesmon but at Sam, and shouted "Dark Spreader!" causing a burst of energy to shoot out at the defenseless human, strong enough to revert whatever part it hit back to data "Don't @#$% with the Demon Lord of Wrath." He said mockingly.

[Ace Daimon]

((Y-Tak gave me control of Kayla for this dream sequence and the occasional interruption.))

 

Meanwhile, Kayla was floating in darkness, not truly knowing what was going on.

"Hello Kayla." Lilithmon called out.

"Huh? Where am I?" Kayla groggily asked.

"You're unconscious from absorbing so much of my essence. Your physical appearance is now similar to my servants, but your hair is now pitch-black. From what I can tell from your memories, if you could get off the LadyDevimon suit, you would be the spitting image of Alice!"

"Wait? I'm not human anymore?!?"

"Nope. You are somewhere, effectively, a Digimon, but you retain so many human characteristics. You can even use your emotions to Digivolve yourself! You are more than I ever dreamed of becoming!"

Kayla gets irritated at this comment.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Sir, we have a problem here!"

Kayla's vitals were going all over the map as she started to grow talons out of her pointed red nails and bat-like wings tried to sprout from her back.

"Her brain activity is off the charts! She's apparently very angry at something!"

Daniel rushed over and hugged the thrashing body tightly, getting a scratch on his cheek as he did so.

"Kayla, if you are listening, I promise I will always be there for you." Daniel whispered into her ear. "It was my fault for letting that witch kidnap you and turn you into this. I don't think there is a cure for what she did to you, but I swear that I will stay by your side and protect you."

Kayla stopped thrashing and calmed down, the various machines hokked up to her showing that she was simply sleeping now.

"I have no idea what you did, but it worked!"

Daniel then turned to Caleb.

"Now, where were we?"

[Ace Daimon]

Lilithmon, now defeated by Kayla's new resolve, started to vanish.

"You may have won this round, but every time you Digivolve, you start to lose part of yourself! You will become immensely hungry until you are forced to consume other Digimon, replacing what you have lost with something that isn't you! But that will make you crave more power, causing you to Digivolve more and more! Eventually, you will be stuck in Scorned Mode, a mindless beast fixated on consuming every Digimon in your path!!!"

"But as long as I have Daniel with me, I won't lose myself!" Kayla cried back, forcing Lilithmon to disappear and the darkness to fade away.

"NNNOOOOOOOO!" Phelesmon screamed as he stopped and jetted forwards trying to protect Sam. He was too slow the blast was almost at Sam he couldn't stop it.

 

Sam couldn't believe what was happening, a Demon Lord was fighting another and he was helping. His attacks had done next to nothing to Daemon who was now aiming at him. This is going to hurt. He put his arms up in front of him reflexivley. He heard a revving sound as he did so, the first thought he had was Death sounds like a motorbike

 

Phelesmon couldn't believe his eyes. Behemoth had used a portal to appear before Sam and protect him. The bike shot in front of Sam and took the entire blast into its metal body, leaving a gaping hole in one side. Falling to the ground the revving sound that usually came with Behemoth quietened the stopped as it hit hard stone.

 

Sam opened his eyes and put his arms down. He noticed Phelesmon flying downwards and Behemoth on the stone of the volcano beneath. Sam did the same as Phelesmon and flew down to his partners side. "What happened?" Sam asked his partner who was actually crying for his bike.

"Behemoth protected you from Daemons attack. His data is being deleted."

"Won't he turn into a digi-egg, or be changed back into something else?"

"No. He isn't a digimon, nor is he a natural digital lifeform. He was one of a kind." A very quiet revving noise came from the dieing Bike. "Of course my friend. I will not let you die in vain".

Phelesmon stood and pulled on Sam's shoulder tugging him back. "Stay back." He told him, he put his hands on the metal edifice of Behemoth and closed his eyes. The data began to run into his body giving Phelesmon more energy.

"That was your biggest mistake yet. Phelesmon digivolve to... Beelzemon!"

 

sammy had increased his pace once again, the strain on his legs was getting much greater. The noises from ahead were getting stranger he had heard a bike revving then get quiter.

"I'm gonna get there soon. Just a little bit closer.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Caleb sighed "I don't supposed you'd believe that I'm from a dystopian future where the Demon Lords took complete control over the Digital World and everyone except Justin, Kayla, and I were either killed, corrupted, or permanently fused with a Digimon, would you?" He asked with a shrug "If not, well, I have no idea what you're supposed to do."

 

((Actually, Behemoth CAN be reborn if he's deleted, or else Runaway Locomon is noncanon, and, in my opinion, that's not true, so you can have Behemoth return if you want))

 

Daemon simply kicked off the volcano and flew above their heads, "Algol's Flame!" He called, breathing fire down on Sam "Ingenious move, using your dying motorcycle to Digivovle yourself, but, I'm afraid that trick will only work once, you're grounded, and to think, if you simply used the Digivice I gave you, you would have wings and it wouldn't matter that Behemoth is finally dead." He breathed another stream of fire, this time at Beelzemon. "Now, die already."

 

((Decision time: Do you want Beelzemon to die, or do you want him to somehow get purified and have Sam switch teams?))

 

Across the room from Caleb, Jack was standing in front of two Digimon healing pods, where Temblor and Ashu were being rejuvenated after their battle with ChaosGallantmon. A DigiEgg was on the table ahead of him, pure red and white with black Digital Hazard symbols splashed like spots along its surface.

"Actually, compared to most of the crap we have to put up with, that is pretty believable. I mean, think about it: if we can have sentient digital lifeforms that can build airships and fuse with us to made even stronger digital lifeforms, why shouldn't we believe that someone traveled through time to change their future?"

"Though, personally, just the act of traveling has already changed your future, since you are now here when you weren't in your past."

"But talking about time travel thoery alwasy gets me confused, so let's just drop it and stick with your cover story."

Just then, Kayla groaned.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Cover story?" Caleb asked "What the Hell do you mean?" He looked over at Jack's twin Digimon, then at his own pair, who were lying on Temblor's immediate right, then down at his own battered body and got a rush of deja vu mixed with a thousand war flashbacks. He shut his eyes and tried in vain to block out the images of the Demon Lords' final assault, the mass deletions and futile last stands. "I haven't changed enough." He realized. "Gallantmon may have turned, but Examon's incapacitated just like before. They could still come for us."

"What he meant by cover story is the tale you told us when you woke up a few days ago in my medical lab in the Labyrinth." Celeste explained as Kayla opened her eyes.

Kayla saw Celeste, Daniel, Jack, Caleb, and several other Digi-Marines standing around her.

"Where...am I?" she groaned.

"Safe. With us. We're heading back to Freeport to return Gallantmon's Digi-Egg to the Royal Knights." Daniel calmly explained from her right side, holding her right hand with his right hand while stroking her hair with his left.

"Lilithmon...she said something while I was dreaming...she said that I was no longer human...is that true?"

"You should see for yourself, dear."

((Now Now that would be telling. nah I love Beelzemon I don't want him to die. But I've already figured something out, so just give me a little bit. :) ))

 

Beelzemon rolled out of the way grabbing Sam while doing so. He placed his partner on the ground and stood. "You better stay out of the way, this is going to get messy." Beelzemon took out his shotguns and pointed them towards Daemon. "That was the straw that broke the Camelmons back." Beelzemon charged his Heartbreak Shot inside of his guns.

"I was happy. Ogudomon took that from me." He shot.

"I had friends aswell as servants." Another shot.

"I was respected." Another.

"I WAS FREE! HEARTBREAK SHOT!" The true power of his attack explosivley fired from the barrels.

 

Sammy ran as fast as he could he had finally reached the volcano and was now getting to the top. "Wooh its hot here. Right?" He got no answer, "Ah you're not gonna reply your pretty much dead."

"HEARTBREAK SHOT!" Sammy looked up and saw a blast fly towards the sky.

"Beelzemon?" The human looked confused. His legs were bruning, but he couldn't stop yet.

[Proto]

Belphemon was confused by the turn of events but decided to take Daemon's side of this due to the fact he trusted him.......somewhat. "Hey Beezlemon, please I don't want another member of our brethren dead but your giving me no choice." He said as he hesitantly prepared a blast of purple flame in his right claw, preparing to shot his own brother. "What are you waiting for, kill the traitor!" his female partner screeched as Belphemon was not firing the blast. "I know I know, I'm just wondering what Lord Ogudomon would think."

 

 

Lee got up from the scaly back of Huanglongmon and got to his feet. "Hey, why am I back here and why am I not dead? I mean you saw me back there, and both my partner and I can only reach Champion Form, we royally suck at battling, so why save me?"

[Blackstone Dresden]

Daemon caught each Heartbreak Shot and threw it carelessly to the side until Beelzemon fired the real one. "Algol's Flame!!!!!" He roared, flames shooting out of his mouth to cancel out the bullet attack "Come on, a Mega vs. a Super Ultimate and another Mega, do you honestly think you have have a chance at winnning?"

 

Caleb slowly closed his eyes and started to lapse into unconsciousness, figuring that it would be close enough to sleep. However, the memories wouldn't stop and he soon woke up in a cold sweat. He looked down at his Digivice, a kind seemingly unique to him, and ran his finger along its cracked surface. He then shut his eyes again and tried to forget the past five years of his life, to no avail.

 

"Because I am a wise and benevolent God that also has the ability to make your partner able to Digivolve to Mega and I gave you your Beast Spirit AND fused them while you were asleep. You're welcome."

[Mr. Hyde]

Aero sighed. "Perhaps we should get back to the Nearest Digimarine fleet now. The digimemory has been taken away." Zach and Terriermon both groaned.

"That makes 4...they only need 4 more until Ogudomon is completely free and ready to kick our asses." Lance said crossing his arms. Carly appeared from the coastline.

"Uh...yeah, we should get out of here. Beta thinks that a giant WaruSeadramon down there is the Demon Lord of Envy. If so, we better get the hell out of here." Everyone nodded. Tyler, Zach, Carly, and Terriermon hopped onto Beta.

"C'mon Frigus, let's go." Aero nodded also. She jetted off with Lance on her back.

[Proto]

"Oh sweet!" Lee said as he looked at his Digivice, browsing through his Spirits, and sure enough KendoGarurumon and Beowulfmon were among them. Suddenly a large flapping was heard and out came Stingmon from the top of the Digicore (quite a distance). He then said "Hey pal, you can stand up now?" Lee gave the insectoid assasin a hearty pat on the back and said "Its good to be back buddy, now Huanglongmon, thank you so much and if you please take me to the Demon Lord of Envy, I here that he should be the easiest bubble to pop in his state."

Beelzemon breathed deeply Sam pour your digisoul into me. You can do it without your digivice. Don't worry." Beelzemon breathed deeply and readied himself for the assault to his senses. Boy is this gonna hurt.

"Are you sure?" Sam asked. He got a nod, but no speech. "Okay here we go." Sam charfged his digisoul and shot out of his arms. The blast hit Beelzemon square in the back. It had the same effect now as it did the last time he tried uploading digisoul into Beelzemon. His muscles grew disproportionatley, his shotguns grew in length and his eyes burnt red.

"Boy this feels good." Said Beelzemon in a reverberating tone, "I've realised something recently. You wanna know what it is? I'll tell you anyway." He stepped forward, "Ogudomon is wrong. He is using you, and boys. You don't even realise it. QUICK SHOT!" He fired off multiple shots and kept on firing. Sam was almost out of energy he had just enough to keep himself concious.

 

Sammy hit the lip of the volcano and saw an amazing sight before him. A massive Beelzemon was facing down Belphemon and Daemon. Sam was on the floor and Sammy could tell he was almost out of energy. "Hey Sam are you ok?" he shouted over the roar of the volcano and the sounds of Beelzemons atacks. Ducking down he scuttled over to Sam and placed Kotemon on the floor.

"Yeh Sammy i'm fine, just a little tired."

"Good. Look I know we're in a strange situation here, but I have something to tell you. I kno"

"WHSTAFMGM!" Shouted Kotemon waking up, "Sammy I know what I am! Umm where are we?"

"We're in a battle between Beelzemon and two other demon lords."

"Ohkaay" Kotemon was obviously confused, "Um you may want to digivolve me." Sammy pointed the digivice at Kotemon, "Kotemon warp digivolve to... SkullMammothmon! Oh boy that feels good. Beelzemon need any help?"

"I'll take any I can get thanks."

Kayla inspected her new body, which she still couldn't believe was her's. Her hair was exactly as Lilithmon described, and it matched her new pale skin and the grayish-black latex outfit she now had stuck on her body. Parts of the suit would open up if she willed it hard enough, but she had no idea how much would actually come off, and for how long the latex would stay off. But the latex enhanced her improved features, which included a flawless body that was a bit taller than before, but also a bit more mature than she really was. She also noticed that her eyes were a bit lighter in color, now a light-blue instead of a deeper shade of blue.

[Hydra of Ages]

Seri sighed. "Nah, seems like they're just normal wanderer-byes. You can eat them if you want."

WaruSeadramon rolled an eye in her direction and stuck out his gigantic tongue slightly with a hint of a pant, probably denoting that he really liked that idea.

Seri giggled. "Alright then, play nice ya'hear? I'm going to check out the shore, near where I thought I saw Imperialdramon. Later." she said with a smile, running over Waruseadramon's nose for a couple minutes until she leaped into the water, which parted into a circular tunnel for her when she approached, letting her disappear without a trace.

 

Moments later, a similar vortex appeared nearer to the shore, allowing her to walk out with only an inch or two of water beneath her. She scanned the horizon for the massive dragon she had earlier witness, while meanwhile, the gigantic Red Snake behind her let loose a teeth-hurtingly loud piercing roar, diving into the depths as massive shockwaves were kicked up in the ocean by the simple movement. Beneath the water, he was startlingly fast, a juggernaut that destroyed everything that crossed his path if it were not eaten, and surprisingly silent to those unsuspecting on the attack.

 

He saw the tail end of some creature a bit like himself; a MegaSeadramon. He sped up, feeling the thrill of the chase.

Mistymon cracked a hint of a smile. "I guess. And I don't usually wear mine because it just gets in the way most of the time and makes it difficult to use my Ribbonblades. I wear it on formal occasions if you hadn't noticed, formal meets with Huanglongmon, visits to the Shrine of Yggdrasil, such and such."

 

Mistymon sighed, and wrung his wrist. After a moment, he pulled his flame sword and sighed. "The Memory is gone, my Flare Sword can feel it. The sanctum of Emberdymon is near here, and it feels defiled, though I doubt the Demon Lords were smart enough to look for it, even from the very presence of all the evil."

 

He paused thoughtfully.

 

"You know, I'd think Witchelny would be the first place Ogudomon would hit, having access to the Seed and whatnot. But then again, none of the Demon Lords save maybe Lucemon if he used his Dimension-Bending abilities, can even access the realm. And it has no leaders. The Wisemon in charge govern it in effect maybe, but not in name, and they're sworn to an unbreakable pact of neutrality in the favor of the good of Witchelny anyway. They don't take sides in the wars of Mortals unless the battlefield is Witchelny itself."

 

He shook his head. "I digress. I've been overthinking things much too much since I've been stopped' in this form. I long for the cool metal of my armor again. It always helped me stay on focus."

Sal blinked as he was raised up. A rational person may have also heard AncientVolcamon's message, however, Sal was neither rational, nor unaccustomed to voices in his head saying random things. By now, he simply learned to tune them out.

 

"Telekinesis. Nice trick." he said appreciatively. "Could'ya teach me? Please?"

 

Silently, Musyamon hit the ground behind the Chessmon and quickly took a battle stance, looking for signs his master was in danger.
