Frigus punched the air in front of him with both arms "Subzero Ice Punch!" He shouted, draconian ice bursts shooting from his fists, one intercepting the Tri Horn Attack, the other heading directly for Triceramon's abdomen "This is FUN!" He said gleefully, looking at Tyler and winking "Don't you think?"

[Mr. Hyde]

Tyler nodded with a smile. "Yeah! We can beat anybody!" he said with a laugh. But Triceramon grunted.

"Did you forget about my other two beams." Ash said with a smirk. "I have three horns you know. One laser for each horn!" he smiled as the other two beams collided into Frigus. But that smile faded once he was hit by the Subzero punches. "Man..I'm getting tired...This guys good."

"With Pleasure." ChaosGallantmon said, extending his arm which quickly changed into the form of a white lance, which then further extended with a blade of dark energy, "Chaos Slash."

ChaosGallantmon raised the long blade of energy high before swinging it straight down the middle of Examon's body.

 

RookChessmon glanced at the ghost of AncientVolcamon, now perched on her enormous shoulder.

"Oh get a grip, we still have a chance! WAKE UP!" She yelled at the Ancient Warrior before focusing her gaze at the Gigasmon Sal, "And you! Could you just give me the Beast Spirit for a quick second...I don't suppose you'd believe me if I said I was being haunted by AncientVolcamon, would you?"

"Aaaahicybreath!!!!" Frigus shouted, releasing a burst of snow from his mouth that managed to take out the second and third laser "I am the greatest!!!" He said, pounding his fists into the air above his head. "Oh, right, Fossilmon" He said looking at Ash and stretching both arms out in front of him "Snowball Fight!"

[Mr. Hyde]

When hit by the attack, Ash dedigivolved into Pukumon. Alex panicked. He picked up Ash and ran off. His last words echoed as he ran. "Ok Tyler, you have yourself a new rival. Next time, you better be prepared. Ash will become Spinomon and then you will have your Frigimon."

Tyler grunted at them. "NICE JOB FRIGUS!" he said running up to him then hugging him. He was really cold but he didn't care. Zach and Lopmon finally woke up.

"Hey..what happened while i was out?" Tyler gave Zach a thumbs up.

"We beat a guy named Alex and his Triceramon." Zach didn't believe this however. Lance then nodded.

"No way...wow..he must be awesome." Tyler giggled.

"Yep. He's very awesome!"

Suddenly, a giant beam of energy hits Omnimon from above as several Deafening Silences de-cloak.

"Gotta love holograms." Daniel commented as a second Blimpmon appeared out of nowhere and picked up Justimon, Tiamat, Kayla, and gang before disappearing again.

A few minutes later, after distracting Omnimon, the holograms vanished.

Lee kept in his womb of Digicore, he had been saved from the fatal blow by his Spirit of Light, he knew that but where was he now? Surely he would have perished if left alone to die their even if his Spirit prevented it. He noticed he was in a red-colored large area where he must have been asleep for quite a bit. He looked at his body, it stinged him to see himself in such a condition. "What a Soldier of Huanglongmon I've been, now where am I?" he said as he couldn't exactly see anything besides himself and the colored area he was around.

 

 

Belphemon flew down to the center of the volcano and began conversing with Daemon while striking the volcano with dark energy blasts. "So found anything yet?"

Sam heard an explosion in the distance and saw a plume of lava fly into the air. Boogeymon didn't notice this he was too busy looking for the digi-memory.

"Hey, Boogymon I think that some of your brethren are here." Sam told his partner the red demon looked away from the boiling lava beneath them and stared ahead.

"Hmm. It's Belphemon and Daemon." He smirked, "And they're doing a very ood job."

"Oh really" Sam laughed. "Perhaps we should give them some assistance?"

"Fine." Boogeymon obviously didn't like this idea, but went ahead with it anyway. "But before we do, Boogeymon digivolve to... Phelesmon!" The digimon used his magic to hold Sam in the air. Using the power of Phelesmon's magic they flew gracefully towards the other Demon Lords.

"Brothers, have you had any success yet?" He then remembered the snap he felt, "And may I ask which of us has taken their last breath?"

Examon didn't, or more like couldn't, move. Caledfwich's data swirled around ChaosGallantmon and started showing him flashes of his life as a Royal Knight, slowing his lance in the process. Open fields turned into barren wastelands, Baby and In-Training Digimon to DigiEggs, then to black shadowed figures. "Remember." The Dragon Emperor pleaded

 

Jack watched as his allies flew off and nodded once, looking at ChaosGallantmon and Examon. He wouldn't have left the three Digimon alone anyway.

 

((Gliscor, why the Hell shouldn't I ban you from this RP for having Triceramon digivolve to a completely different Digimon that he can't even legitimately turn into?! And I already said WE HAVE A LOPMON, Y-tak was here first, he has a Lopmon, you CAN'T HAVE ONE! Or Antylamon or Cherubimon for that matter.))

 

Frigus devolved into SnowAgumon and the area around them suddenly warmed back up to just-barely-bearably hot "We won this time because Triceramon was already weakened before we got here. I already reached Champion this early because of my mom and dad, but there's no way I can reach Mega in time to fight Spinomon."

 

Caleb coughed "So, how did we do?" He asked weakly "We obviously got Kayla back, I can see that much, but what about Omnimon and Gallantmon?

 

Missimon and Frimon were still unconscious.

 

"Wake up!" A loud voice boomed as the DigiCore Lee was encased in shoved him out onto miles and miles and MILES of some rough scaly surface.

 

"Ogudomon found it as soon as Huanglongmon's focus slipped." Daemon said with a nod "The sword's already been taken out, Ogudomon has 4 legs free."

Tyler shook his head. "I bet you can do it! You can do anything!" Aero giggled at this remark. She knew he couldn't do anything. But that he could do a lot. She swooped down and gave her son a hug.

"Nice job baby. You beat your first Ogudomon Peon." Lance approached Tyler. As well did Zach. They both stuck up their hands.

"Good job little man."

"Likewise." Tyler high-fived both hands. He then scratched his head.

"What now?"

"Sorry, it's a little late." Vincent whispered as ChaosGallantmon's lance continued on to cut through Examon.

A solitary tear feel down ChaosGallantmon's face beneath his helmet as the lance cut through the Dragon Emperor.

"Forgive me..." he whispered, "But...I decided to go against Huanglongmon long ago...maybe even before I became corrupted...Thank you though...My mind...with these memories, it's free."

"Yeah, "Vincent said with a smirk, "Now you won't feel the urge to praise the Demon Lords every second."

"Definitly, I was starting to think I'd go insane from licking the bottoms of their feet."

Sammy was walking through the endless darkness that surrounded him, he was trying to wake his digimon."Kotemon wake up." No responce, "Kotemon?" He said again this time shaking the reptile digimon.

"Hahahahaha!" Sammy turned on his heel. The laugh still echoed through the cave.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" When the laugh didn't return Sammy turned back the way he came. But Sam was stood in his way, "Hello Sammy"

"What?" A digimon clad in leather stepped up behind Sammy and placed a hand onto his shoulder. The feeling made Sammy jump, dropping Kotemon in the process.

"Hello Sammy" Beelzemon said to the scared human boy.

"You... Your not real?" Sammy whimpered. Falling to his knees Sammy started searching for the form of his digimon.

"We're not real?" Sam said to his copy, "If we're not real then how can I do this?" A kicked flew towards Sammys stomach knocking the wind out of him and making him fall to the ground. Sammy tried to pick himself up, but heard a rapid click behind him.

"Stand up Sammy." Beelzemon told him. Sammy did as he was ordered, "Perhaps we should just kill him now?"

"No" A familiar voice echoed around him.

"Kotemon?"

"Yes Sammy" The voice didn't seem quite right.

"No you're not Kotemon." Sammy took a deep breath after being kicked.

"Yes I am Sammy. And I think I should tell you your plan shall not work."

"No you're not. You're not Kotemon." Sammy stumbled forward. Another click echoed behind him. He stopped dead in his tracks.

"I wouldn't walk any further if I were you Sammy." The voice of Beelzemon said.

"We know what you are planning Sammy. But I don't want to return to the way I was." Sammy shook his head.

"I know you don't, not yet at least." Sammy coughed, "But your being controlled Sam. And I need to help you." He took another step. And heard another click. "Sammy smiled and quietley laughed to himself.

"What are you laughing at.?" The vicious voice of Beelzemon questioned.

"Three clicks. Beelzemon only has two shotguns. You just cocked three." He stepped forwards and kept walking.

"NO SAMMY COME BACK HERE! YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED!" The combined voices of Sam, Kotemon and Beelzemon shouted behind him. Sammy opened his eyes to find himself on the other side of the mountains, with Kotemon in his arms.

It must have been a test. He kept on towards his destination wit his partner in his arms.

 

"Good." Phelesmon said, "But I ask you again brothers. Which of us has died?"

((Gliscor, I really can't tell from your posts. Are you still in the water or not.))

 

Seri frowned as she looked out to sea. "Are they Royal knights?" she wondered out loud, noticing a dark shadow on the horizon. "So hard to see of your head when you're like this, Cravvy."

The WaruSeadramon gave a brief grunt, which would be loud enough to resound several miles. He gave a lazy flick of his tail, which promptly stirred up several large waves, at least ten feet high (which really was barely anything, considering the beast making said waves was about seven times that in height).

Mistymon grunted as Ceila twitched a little in her sleep. He sighed. "Well, thanks for trying Imperialdramon, but I think she just needs to sleep for a while. I don't think she had any rest since she entered the Digital world. But that might speed it up."

He carefully put her over his shoulder, so that he would have his arms, after making sure she wouldn't fall off.

Mistymon sighed and kicked a slight rock. "Though the quicker she gets wakes up, the better. I get stuck in my Perfect form and what happens? At least two Royal Knights go rogue!"

he scowled.

"Huanglongmon's going to reprimand me for this, you know. Or if he doesn't, Alphamon will. You know that blue cape he, Omnimon and me all wear? You know what it means? It means we're the most trusted of the Royal Knights, the core group who are expected to uphold the ideals even in hardship. Now that the Lord of the Empty Seat is making good of his title and Omnimon has turned, I'm the only member of that core that can be counted on to fix this crap."

 

He scowled and kicked another rock. "Not sure why he didn't give you one of those capes though. Ever have a disagreement with Alpha?"

 

((Btw, for the cape-lore, I'm going off of Glademon's [Alphamon's canon Perfect-form] flavor description, which describes that he gives his cape to the most noble of the Royal Knights. Interestingly, it specifically mentions LordKnightmon as the example of a cape-bearer, even though no promotional art shows LordKnightmon with a cape.))

Sal sighed and turned around, his steps making indentations in the ground. "Look, I don't know what kind of crazy you are, but I think you can figure why I don't go giving my Spirit to everyone who passes by. You may not have figured this, but I'm slightly paranoid. I've got no reason to trust you with something so powerful.

[Mr. Hyde]

Carly looked above her. A giant shadow blocked her view of the sun and the ocean's surface. She knocked on Beta's head and pointed upwards. Beta could talk since Seri was holding her breath. "Ah..that thing..i don't know what it is. Perhaps a glacier. But the only thing is...it curves. I wonder what it is. LIGHTNING JAVELI..." Carly pounded on his head before he could shoot his electricity. Carly put up one finger. She motioned that if they used an electric attack, they'd all get fried. she put up two fingers and pointed towards her chest. "Right!" Beta surfaced. He realized that what was blocking there view was a giant, WaruSeadramon.

Caledfwich's data shoved ChaosGallantmon away and combined itself with Examon "Examon Mode Change to.... Slayer Mode." He said as his wings formatted into armor and a new sword. The newly Digivolved Royal Knight placed the tip of Caledfwich 2.0 on the Fallen Knight's chest. "Brother, if you turned your back on Huanglongmon, you would have been fully corrupted into the monstrosity that is Megidramon. However, now, you are walking the fine line between Demon and Knight, and I'm asking you to let me choose." He raised Ambrosius and started loading, unloading, and reloading shells until he found the right one, which snapped in place with a loud click.

 

"Do the math." Daemon said "Barbamon never leaves his room, Leviamon's visible from high orbit, Lucemon's a couple dozen yards behind me, Belphemon and I are right here and you're still alive, though why you take that form instead of Beelzemon is beyond me."

 

"He did give me one of the capes" Imperialdramon told Mistymon "As you pointed out, my traitorous brother has one, which is the same as me having one, or are you not in the loop about our true identity?" He shrugged "Besides, capes and wings seems redundant, and Magnamon would just look ridiculous wearing one, isn't that why you never wear yours?"

 

Sal was pulled into the air by the now-full size AncientVolcamon ghost "Now do you believe her?" He asked, with Sal not really hearing it, more like just having the words pop into his mind from Gigasmon's mind, who got them from the giant invisible dead ghost.

"...Very well then." ChaosGallantmon said, reaching a hand around the end of Ambrosius, gently adjusting the aim until the tip was pointed directly at his forehead, "One thing you should know though-" A crackle of dark energy seemed to move along the lance, until stopping at Examon's chest, though other than a brief appearence, it could hardly be seen nor felt, "I hate letting others choose my fate."

The symbol of the Digital Hazard suddenly appeared on Examon's chest, in the presise spot that the crack of dark energy had moved a moment ago.

"Dark Hazard."

Stating the name of his attack, ChaosGallantmon unleashed the power of the Digital Hazard and Chrono Core, with the epicenter of the energy focused on Examon's chest.

 

"Oh finally!" RookChessmon yelled out, seeing the ghost finally doing something, "Now we're talking! Now that you're back in this, we might actually get some work done!"

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Avalon's Rebirth!" Examon shouted, unleashing his attack in perfect synch with ChaosGallantmon. He was then rocketed backwards only to Partition and be caught by Jack's DigiSoul Claw attack. The shell, however, hit its mark and ChaosGallantmon devolved to BlackWarGrowlmon, with a DigiEgg containing Gallantmon's true self appearing in the room.

 

"Ashu, Temblor, you did it." He said looking at the new DigiEgg, then at Vincent. He cracked his knuckles and neck, another DigiSoul Claw catching the falling egg. "I guess we have a draw." He said with a grin "So, wanna decide this right now or run back to Ogudomon and tell him you lost a Royal Knight?"

 

"Might finally get some work done?!" AncientVolcamon shouted "I'm a dead volcano holding up a stone ogre made from my data! How much more work do you want?!"

Before Jack could utter another word, Vincent had already jumped straight infront of him, his entire body charged with his pitch black Digisoul, obscuring his form from view. Rearing his leg back, Vincent aimed a roundhouse kick at Jack's head while simultanously attempting to grab teh DigiEgg out of his hand.

BlackWarGrowlmon meanwhile was totally comatose.

 

"Yesh, sorry." RookChessmon said, "I just meant it's better than you sitting around and doing nothing but sulking..."

[The Warden]

OOC: The second part was a parody of Will.E Coyote and Roadrunner, I figured we could use a laugh

 

Duke watched as the volcano was destroyed, but Lucemon just laughed. 'It seems my comrades of Wrath and SLoth are already where we should be' he remarked. Lucemon picked up and speed and headed for what remained of the volcano. He landed on some stable ground and looked up at the two large demon lords. 'Daemon, Belphemon, am I correct in assuming that the digi-memory has already been recovered?' he stated. 'Lucemon's manner is excellent, no matter what stage he is at, he always assume such a well kept and dominant stance' Duke thought.

Jack extended his DigiSoul Claw about fifty feet in the air and raised his free arm, "DigiSoul Barrier!" He shouted, dark gray DigiSoul wrapping around him in a dome, fusing with his DigiSoul Claw when the two intersected, so Vincent's kick harmlessly bounced off "Nice trick, but I'm taking Gallantmon's good side, you can have the pure Virus left over from the transfer." He sighed and shook his head "On second thought, what with Gallantmon being reborn and my partners being near death, I'm just gonna get the Hell out of here."

 

"And used" Daemon said with a nod "Our God is halfway free, just four DigiMemories left and Hell will rain down upon the world." He looked around "Well, three-fourths of the world at any rate, I think Hell might be an improvement over this.

Lucemon smirked and let out a hint of a chuckle. 'Excellent, grand news for our lord, for once' he remarked callously. 'Now that our duty is done, we shall return tot he fortress, unless there is something here that you are not telling me' Lucemon continued, floating up to be level with Daemon. He folded his arms and gave Daemon a piercing look. 'He actually goes around making light threats as if they were common day occurences, how did I end up with him as my partner?' Duke wondered.

As Jack attempted to leave a giant metal arm slammed down infront of him, blocking his escape. BlackWarGrowlmon panted heavily from the effor of raising his arm and slamming it into the ground, while Vincent approached Jack to close the gap.

"'Good side'? 'Pure Virus'?" He said, adjusting his glass, though it was difficult to tell with his form covered in his digisoul, "Gallantmon is renowned for being the only Royal Knight of the Virus-Type. He is a virus, plain and simple. If you seperate his 'good' from the virus, then there is really nothing. All you've done is taken away his powers as a Royal Knight and severly weaked him. But that DigiEgg...all it is is the raw data of a Royal Knight I'd bet, which is useless...unless you intend to use it to awaken one of the other Royal Knights, or boost there power or some such. But my partner needs that data, and I'm sure Ogudomon doesn't want any of the other Royal Knights getting stronger...so no matter out intents, what it boils to is that I want that back-" Vincent's digisoul erupted massivly, overtaking the entire room and making it impossible to see.

Within the cover of the blackness Vincent ran directly forward at where he remembered Jack to be, ran past him, twisted around and aimed a kick directly at the back of his neck. If it hit, Vincent planned to grab the DigiEgg out of Jack's arms after hitting him. If not, he'd drop his DigiSoul and then punch the living daylights out of him.

Vincent's kick didn't connect with anything more than air, and, when he dropped his DigiSoul, he found a hastily scrawled note carved into the wall: "'Smokescreens' go both ways dumb---" With the last part of the last word being interrupted by a section where the wall ceased to exist. Besides Vincent and BlackWarGrowlmon, the room was now completely empty.

 

DarkOmnimon landed and saw the room "What the Hell?!" He asked, BlackMetalGarurumon and BlackWarGreymon separating from the Omega Blade, which then vanished in a burst of light "Did you just vaporize them, or did you let them escape." They then noticed BlackWarGrowlmon, swore loudly, and vanished.

 

((According to Digimon Wiki, Gallantmon (or at least CM) has a Vaccine variant, so I'm interpreting that as being the 'good side' with CGallantmon being neutral (like the Chaos Archetype in Yu-Gi-Oh!) and Megidramon as being the 'evil side'))

Daniel, now back to being human, rushed Kayla to Celeste.

"Oh, honey! What did they do to you?" Celeste asked Kayla as she was placed on an open bed.

Daniel started to tell the medic what had happened.

"So, to recap, they did some sort of ritual on her and made her part-Digimon, then she turned into some sort of demon and devoured Lilithmon and her servants."

"Well, that explains this."

Celeste showed Daniel Kayla's latest data path analysis, which she had just completed, which showed Kayla as having a mix of human and Virus Digimon data, as well as a mixed data core with several smaller ones fused to it.

"She's apparently gained several traits that the other servant of Lilithmon that I scanned didn't, such as the hair color change, the fangs, and the seal on her chest, most likely due to all of that fractal code she has consumed. She will probably have a slight personality change, and will no longer be able to eat normal food."

"Why?"

"Because if what you're saying is true, she might be a very rare type of Digimon called a "Digital Cannibal", a Digimon that feeds off of the fractal code of other Digimon to survive. Fortunately, they usually prefer Digimon within their attribute and family, so our Commandramon are most likely safe from her cravings."

"She was always such an Edward Cullen fan. Now she's the Digimon equivalent of a vampire herself."

"You did not just compare that worthless excuse of a vampire to her did you?" Caleb asked, sitting up despite the protests his muscles immediately mounted trying to force him back down "If that loser was a vampire, he'd fry in the sun, not sparkle like a moron." He shook his head "Besides, the first three movies are cra----" Caleb realized what he was saying and immediately stopped talking. Dumb#%&! he thought This early in the war, New Moon just came out, and I referenced the first THREE movies... He then started praying that they wouldn't notice, or would dismiss it as stress-induced dysnomia.
