So we're the ignorant ones? Look in the mirror. Why do we hate Fake Types? Because there's not need for types such as 'ninja' or 'samurai' or 'rogue'. They can be all classified into a single type, where's the point in creating a new type for EVERY. SINGLE. THING. There is none. Realistic Cards if for cards that are Realistic. Meaning that they have to go by real cards. SO unless, there's suddenly an official, 'ninja' type, there shouldn't be any fake types there. STOP. Subtypes as a whole are great, as they work with their kind of monsters without needing a specific Archetype of needless names. Which is part of the reason that the TCG/OCG added Psychics (though this is a type) in the first place. The vast amount of cards for it, was far too great as a whole to give it specific names and archetypes. Then we come to direct Subtypes which are created for JUST that reason. For many cards of different types such as Unions and Spirits to work together. And this is evident by one of the original spirits "Wicked Worm Beast", or the original Union Monster "Blast Sphere". It was going to expand exponentially into many new cards and a mechanic of their own. So creating a subtype for them was the wisest choice. The same goes for when you're creating a card. Unless you're doing a large amount of cards (easily 10+ and various other Spells and Traps), there is no reason whatsoever to create a new subtype as it just takes up space and isn't needed. Whether or not you've seen it used for less, and I sure as the grass in my yard is green, I have too. Fake Types and Subtypes are to be used in a large presence of similar cards, making that the only or wise new option. Otherwise it's just yeah... This topic has NO POINT to it. Good day. Those cards are meant to be as close to the actual thing as possible. Fake Types belong in AoC and in certain circumstances Pop Culture. Fake Types + Realistic = Fail. We want people to respect new ideas instead of bashing them into the ground. All you have done is further proven my point that nobody respects any form of idea any more. Your clubs says 'Fake Type Knights'. EMPHASIS ON THE FAKE TYPE. Also, that's beside the point. Our point is that Fake Types are useless, unless they don't cover a type already.
