You're misunderstanding what that chunk of his effect text means. It simply means nothing can intervene to his summon and mess him up, not that everything is permanently negated forever after you slap him down on the table. In my opinion God Cards should all be "Limited" now and in the future because they were designed to be one-of-a-kind cards in the first place. P.S. That's a funny story DJVD. Also, it was mentioned a little eariler, but the "other God cards", meaning the pre-existing Obelisk, Ra, and Slifer, are not and were never "banned". The term "banned" implies that they are on a list of "banned" cards. Instead, they have a piece of text on them stating that they cannot be used in a DUEL. PERIOD. Not in a "Tournament", but in a DUEL. Also, there are other cards like this. The "Kingdom Cards", "Match-Winner Series" and "Asian Tournament 2000 Promos" are examples of this.
