Barely anyone ever shows apreciation toward homeless people, this is because pretty much everyone in this world who is better off then most are selfish and those who arent can't afford to, I worked in a Charity shop once and the people were getting upset because they couldnt afford some of the stuff in there.

Let me tell you something. I know a lot of people who are adopted. And they aren't depressed, quite teh opposite. So, unless you have factual proof that adoption is a major cause of depression, we're gonna stick that relationships is a leading cause of depression, which is still is ifiamrite.
