Can you guys please (PLEASE) take this seriously?

OK. I was serious about the fact that you can never escape. Imagine if you wanted to write Pork and Beans but instead of a K, you press the forbidden button to form the evil word. There, you get warning (I think, never tried). That's when I find its bad.

Just edit/explain the problem.

You unintentionally write something bad. That's all. So I'll try to have better grammar to prevent such occurances. Good thing YCM censors.

This isn't a huge issue for me. I'm guilty of making a few grammar mistakes here or there. As long as the person can form a fairly coherent sentence' date=' I don't see the problem with a few grammar mistakes; however, it annoys me when people don't make any effort at all to use sub-par grammar.

[/quote']

Yeah, mistakes are ok and tolerable by most. But some people just don't even try.

Ugh, and RPing is just the worst.

I RP, so I know. I approve. Approving is the only way out.

Do many members here know what grammar' date=' spelling and punctuation is? Do they even [i']try[/i] to spell out words? lsn't spell check available? l understand mistakes, but some don't even try to speak correctly.

Discuss this annoyance.

I do. Mostly I have perfect grammar. And I'm spectacular at my spelling. If I'd make a mistake in my post, it would probably be a mistype. I only do bad grammar sometimes just for fun.

No offense, but this is ironic coming from you.

The thing is it is indeed easier to type in short hand, but it is a bad habit to keep and very easy to get.

So while some people may type improperly they usually still know how to type properly, they just choose not to. It is indeed their right to choose which way they type, how they deal with it is another thing.

um as lnog as you can raed teh msesage' date=' souldnh't it be fnie? <<.

Dont be stupid, If you keep the first and last letter in place it usually can be understood but when you type "olgn" instead of "long", and "esmseaeg" instead of "message" it stops making sense.

Bad spelling and grammar get annoying if it comes to a point where you cant understand what they are trying to say.

I dont have perfect grammar and I usually spell things correctly so I guess all my posts are clear.

BTW, just to clarify. By unintentional grammar errors, I meant that you don't know grammar well enough, but you still post and expect people to understand. I make mistakes, but that's either from me being tired, me skipping a key/hitting the wrong key on my keyboard, or my keyboard failing to respond because it's dying.

Oh hell yeah! However, an exception is that this:

Dude: Hey, nice (Wants to write "tips" but accidentally presses another button instead of the last t). Thanks girl!

Girl: You perv! Negged, Reported.

Dude: Oops, spelling error! I'll fix that.

And this:

"Hey, your bad spelling is hard to understand. You need a translator."

Good thing those never happened to me.
