Silent Swordsmen

Well, I'm new here, I'll admit that. So I'm starting a thread to see if I can get some cards in.

Since I'm editing, I might as well put the Lore here for LV11:

Silent Swordsman LV11:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Silent Swordsman LV9". As long as this card remains face-up on the field, negate the effects of and remove from play all Spell Cards on your opponent's field. This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle.

Oops, sorry! *facepalm*

here is the lore for the first one:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot

be Special Summoned except by Tributing 1 "Silent Swordsman LV7"

from your side of the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field,

negate the effects of all Spell Cards on the field and destroy them. If this card

successfully attacks your opponent directly, you may tribute this card to Special

Summon 1 "Silent Swordsman LV11" from your hand or Deck.

Second one:

This card canot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special

Summoned except by Tributing 1 "Silent Swordsman LV9" from your side of

the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, negate the effects

of all Spell Cards on the field and remove them from play. This card cannot be

destroyed as a result of battle.

Overall I like the idea, pics could be better but I usually don't judge people based on pics. You are the only person as far as I know to have made a LV Monster that surpassed LV 10 but that's not really a problem. Your OCG tends to only be minor so for that I'll give you a:

B RANK.

I like the art on the real Silent Swordsman cards too much to agree with your versions xD but still ok.

Just to give you some stuff to work with:

-LV monsters don't "Tribute", just "send to the Graveyard". What's the difference? LV monsters won't be affected by Mask of Restrict.

-The way Silent Swordsman LV 9 "Tributes" itself for LV11 needs to be re-worded. According to the card, you Tribute it right after you attack with it and then you are able to attack with LV11 in the same turn because of that. Or was it on purpose? O_o

It would be something like what's written in Silent Swordsman LV7's card effect.

Minor Flaws, OK pic, good for a new member actually ;)

9/10 for starters.

I did a redo on "Silent Swordsmen LV9" (changed the pic and made its effect more specific)

Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your Hand or Deck by sending 1 face-up "Silent Swordsman LV7" to the Graveyard during your Standby Phase. You cannot activate this effect the turn "Silent Swordsman LV7" was Summoned. As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, negate the effects of and destroy all Spell Cards on your opponent's field. If this card successfully attacks your opponent directly, during your next Standby Phase, by sending this face-up card to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Silent Swordsman LV11" from your hand or Deck.

All the above posts have missed something crucial. Your OCGSP has a critical flaw, preventing the playability of "Silent Swordsman LV11" (not that he'd be Summonable anyways... waiting a MINIMUM of 3 turns is just too much time.). But I'll get to that.

In order to increase the playability of these cards, I recommend changing "Silent Swordsman LV9's" effect to something like "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your Hand or Deck by sending 1 face-up "Silent Swordsman LV7" to the Graveyard during your Standby Phase. You cannot activate this effect the turn "Silent Swordsman LV7" was Summoned."

This will give more playability (though you can't really give playability to a LV card at this high of a Level...) and balance. Also, the effect is the exact same as "LV7", and all I really care about is my OPPONENT'S Spell Cards not working, so I'd have this card negate the effects of and destroy all my opponent's Spell Cards

For the last guy, the first sentances should be "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Silent Swordsman LV9"." If you don't write it that way, then LV9 will Summon LV11 from the Deck, but LV11's effect intones that it can only be Summoned from the hand. So it wouldn't get Summoned (unless you had LV11 in your hand...).

Anyway, yeah. The cards aren't great... but they're better than the average creations of your average 1-star members. Keep it up, man.
