Discuss good or bad ones you have/have had, and maybe some quotes. :)

 

At my school, there is a history/drama teacher named Mr. Kirkwood who everybody loves. :) He even has a student made facebook page with... I think 200 something fans... lol. :) (he has more fans of his page than of the school itself.) He's been teaching there for a while. :)

My english teacher told me I would be ugly when I grow older.

Yes, we (as in the class and the teacher) were having a discussion on a poem about some old man. The old man spent his entire life fighting for something, and now is beat up around the face, missing a lot of teeth, has a messed up eye, and other things. However, this old man still wishes to fight in order to get that something, though he probably never will.

 

My teacher asked the class if anyone admires the man for never giving up, or that if you think that the old man should live the rest of his life in peace. He then called on me, even though I wasn't raising my head. I answered that I don't admire him, because he worked all his life for nothing, and all he got was an ugly face. He then replied that I am going to be ugly when I grow up too.

 

... I hate him so much.

I love all of mine. Let's go in order of why...

 

Miss Tanaka - She's my awsome Asian teacher =D We have a lot of jokes with her, abd I totally beat her at Dance Dance Revolution~ She's also hella cool and funny, plus got me a cute anime plushie =3

 

Mrs. Jessica - ALWAYS nice and let's me do whatever, plus offers me food in class~

 

Mr. Chamanara - He's funny and sarcastic =D

 

Mr. Mustard - Excteremly sarcastic and mellow. =D

 

Mrs. Spivak - The BEST English teacher IN THE WORLD. Not only does she teach remarkable English and Latin, she'll do anything for your education! Instead of reading from the boring textbook, she bought with her own money many other books with famous authors like Edgar Allan Poe and Nathaniel Hawthorne. I love English, so she's a real idol. You learn English, Latin, and Life in Mrs. Spivak's class.

 

All my teachers can teach well and is awsome~

I wish I had her for english... -_- She sounds really nice and devoted. :)

All my teachers can teach well and is awsome~

 

Here's a rating of my teachers from last year...

[spoiler=7th Grade]

Mr Kirkwood, Drama: Overall, awesome teacher. :) The plays he writes aren't the best, but they're funny and he lets the students participate in writing it, and offer him ideas. :) He's been teaching 34 years, and he writes 2 plays every year.

 

Mr Molloy, PE: Overall, very cool guy. Very likable, and he is very nice.

 

Ms. Mejia, Homeroom: She's cool. :) She teaches computers in her normal classes, and every friday we got to use/play on the computers in her class. My friends and I would also play Yugioh on Fridays in her class, and she has several partys over the course of the year. :)

 

Mrs. Morran, Math: Overall pretty good. She has a hard time controlling the class sometimes, but other than that she was okay. Not bad, but not to great either. I don't blame her at all for this, but when she went on maternity leave, the substitute she left was awful. She could not control the class at all, and was actually absent on several days, leaving a substitute substitute teacher, who was even worse.

 

Mr. Rouzan, History: This was the best teacher I had that year. He made everything very interesting, and would go off subject a lot. Even so, all of the points still got through. He makes a lot of diagrams on the board, which after class is over might as well be written in gibberish. He was harsh, but fair too.

 

Mrs. Lama, Science: Again, very good teacher. Got all of her points through excellently, and made the class interesting.

Mrs. Smith(English): The BEST English teacher IN THE WORLD.(lolcopyandpaste) She actually wants us to call her a weirdo. She's hilarious and has great sense of humor. Not only that, but her teaching ways is great as well. On the negative side, she's scary when she gets mad and she gives hard homework.

 

Mrs. Biletnikoff(History): She's okay. Kind of a normal teacher.

 

Mr. Montes(Math): Fun class. He is the complete opposite of strict. Probably one of the nicest teachers ever.

 

Mrs. Morten(Science): Another nice teacher. We do labs everyday. She doesn't make us do boring worksheets. She gives us super easy homework. She has a Hamster, a rabbit, a guinea pig that she lets us hold.

 

Ms. Garrison(Psychology of the Virtual World): This class is about learning psychology and the different kinds of things in the computer(stuff like Pivot, Alice 2.2, Scratch, Faces). Super nice teacher but my class is horrible(lots of troublemakers)

 

Mr. Parker(PE): He's the average PE teacher. Normal but boring.

One nitpick I have is how you base your opinion of a teacher on the amount of work and strictness.

 

A teacher should be based on just that, their teaching skills.

 

Just because a teacher gives you 50 math problems for homework doesn't mean he/she is bad.

 

Just wait till college.

Top 5 Teacher hate list

Mr Maltby - Up tight, doesnt care for anyone, gives of charaterstics of autistic behaviour towards students.

 

Mr Burton - Supposedly one of the nicest and most beautiful teachers fiance's, this ugly french teacher appears to be Bi-Polar as he cannot stop shouting, even when he his happy.

 

Mr Winch - Very old fashioned teacher (being an old man and all) he decides to throw whiteboard pens at our heads as no one uses the good ol' chalk any more.

 

Mrs Gutierez - Weighs in at about 20 stone, she is quite obviously an illegal immigrant, she can't speak English well at all and she teaches us Spanish, it's considered an "honour" to have a real Native speaker to teach us the language, the issue does always arrise that she can't translate what she is saying to us, and decides to wear no bra and see through tops at winter to top it all off.

 

Mrs Bailey - Head Mistress, can't take a joke, when it snows (which it's been doing frequantly) we can't go outside and can only stay in the Lunch hall which is basically a square, or a very narrow two person aisle hallway.

 

The only one I do like is a nice little Irish man called Mr. Caraher who lost his pinky while playing with his mothers butchers knife <3

I had a geometry teacher last year who was incredibly biased.

He played class favorites and gave me the lowest grades possible. :mad:

(I still hate him for that)

 

Anyway, my current teachers are OK.

 

English = OK, but he's easy and I get good grades

 

Trigonometry = I got dual teachers this term, but they're alright for now

 

Health = Meh, takes long absences from time to time

 

World History = She's okay and sometimes fun

My teacher says Hippos and Whale evolved from a weird hippo looking thing.

Why did you quote that? I called the guy on the video an idiot, not my teacher.

Meh, I've seen things deemed to be far more stupid through my eyes, but for now I will just tell you of an epic bball tale, okay, so my friend was gaurding the basket trying to reject me, I ran straight up to him, slammed my right foot on his left leg and then elevated my self by putting my left foot on his shoulder, then I slam dunked.
