DARKPLANT RISING
Do you know the great novel series Percy Jackson And The Olympians? I love it just as much as HP, and it's going to be soon released.
Mcjimbob
I finished the last book at the end of summer '09. Good books. I'll be looking forward to it.
Twig
I'm a bit nervous that they'll ruin it just by looking at the trailers.
The Borg
I love the second book. I hate the changes they made while making the movie.
Dissonance
The teaser was terrible, however, the full trailer does look a bit more intriguing. I doubt I'll see in in theaters, but I'll keep my ears open to see what kind of reviews it gets.
Phantom Roxas
I met the actors playing Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Luke. Pretty cool people. I still think this movie is going to do a bad job at adapting the books considering that he fights the hydra in this movie. It will be good as a movie, but bad as an adaptation. Dark
Books were amazing. And we can all see the good books become horrible movies. Look at Harry Potter. All seven of the books were at least decent, but the only good movies were 1, 2 and maybe 3. Percy Jackson was an amazing series (3 books, I think). But the movie(s) are probably going to butcher it like hell.
Phantom Roxas
There are 5 Percy Jackson books. I'm halfway through the second, but I have the first three.

Dark
I actually hated the 6th HP movie. Mostly because the book itself didn't have much action, but the movie could have played the book a tad better. :/
DARKPLANT RISING
I've decided to curse Luna Lovegood for eternity. Terrible, she said. She's paying for that... Harry Potter is nothing compared to Percy Jackson. It's gonna be an amazing movie. However, it's gonna be an terrible adaptation, as already said. Roxas... I envy you for meeting the Son of the Sea God.

Brushfire
I actually hated the 6th HP movie. Mostly because the book itself didn't have much action' date=' but the movie could have played the book a tad better. :/[/quote'] I dislike Harry Potter, so the movie was enjoyable for me. It focused too much on the romance, and no-where near enough on Dumbledore's Pensieve and Riddle's memories imo.
CinnamonStar
*looks at title*I've never heard of this since everyone's orgasming about Twilight, can someone sum up what it's about for me?:) But I feel that this is gonna be my thing... But at the same time I'm always scared when I see something about Hellenic mythology T_T, it's always so simplified in the media.:/ As if it was nothing and then people find it's overdone and really as stupid as it's shown. EliminateHRN
I never read the book series (I want to though). I watched the trailers and it looks pretty good, but as I said I never read the books, so I can't see any changes they made. I'm looking forwards to the movie. Dr. Percival Cox
I've read the entire series and I've been hoping for a movie ever since but.... Percy is only 12 in the books he looks like he's 16 in the movie>.>. Wich messes up the whole point of most of the series.P.S. Did anyone see the DS game? It's total Fail XD

Percy is only 12 in the books he looks like he's 16 in the movie>.>. Wich messes up the whole point of most of the series.P.S. Did anyone see the DS game? It's total Fail XD As with all adaptations, things are subject to change. I've never read the story, so I don't know the significance of age in it, but it's a lot easier to market a 16-year-old than a 12-year-old. Unless your name is Harry Potter, of course. Godot
I read the WHOLE series, got the 5th book signed and am currently waiting for the next series. BUT....I think the movie may be mediocre. I hope I'm wrong though.
