evilfusion
Look' date=' if you're going to post bad decks up, be prepared to get flamed, especially if you're an ignorant fool. These members were trying to help you, by telling you that the deck is bad, but did you listen? Obviously not. Seriously, this deck is bad. It has no synergy whatsoever. If you really want to run the Wicked Gods, focus on 1, like Avatar, but that's really not enough since Avatar is seriously open for monster destruction. And why is it so hard for you to see why the deck is bad? Firstly it has 60 cards. Do you believe what's said on the structure decks? You should only run 40-42 cards, since then you have more chances to draw into cards that you need.[/quote'] This is my last say on this subject. There is no difference between 40 cards and 60 cards. either deck can be equally effective. Have you retards ever thought that a 60 card deck can funtion just as well as a 40 card deck if you run duplicates or sometimes triplicates of needed cards. You'll get the cards you need when you need them and you'll have more of them. you won't have to worry about long drawn out duels becuase you won't deck out and you will have 20 to 30 different cards and in that case it will be just as good as a 40 card deck. You people just have your head shoved so far up your asses believing that now everything has to be the way your deck is built. Remember this. Anyone can win with any deck. It's not the cards it's how they are used that makes a deck good and a player will to use them as such. Now begone with you annoying flies I have morer important things to due that waste my life sitting here on a coputer arguing with worthless idiots The only way anyone should be in danger of decking out without a long-drawn out duel is if their opponent runs a mill deck or if you run some sort of turbo draw engine, Lightsworn decks not included as their whole gimmick is to self-mill. The difference between 40 cards and 60 is 20 cards that can get in the way of the cards you're after. I would consider accepting your logic of a larger deck being useful by stuffing it with duplicate cards if this deck actually followed that logic itself. It doesn't. Plus needed cards that only are allowed in one copy (Heavy Storm, Mirror Force, etc) wont get drawn in a larger deck. This is why people limit their cards to 40. While you are technically correct that any deck is capable of winning, most players build their decks to get specific cards they want as quickly as possible. That's where deciding on a theme and win condition come in. The cards in a player's deck should focus on that theme/win condition and support it in some way. For example, if your deck's win condition was to summon Wicked Dreadroot, you'd want to put 3 Dreadroot (so you can get it faster), plus a bunch of cards for tribute (Soul Exchange, Brain Control, Nimble Momonga/Giant Germ/etc) or Tributable Token-producing cards, like Fires of Doomsday or Dandylion. The more conditional an effect is, the less likely it will come in handy, even if you do draw it. If the effect isn't powerful enough to match the difficulty of the condition, it's not a good card. Right now, the only reason I see to run "Fiends" is for Solidarity, yet your Wicked Gods aren't good trump cards. I will overlook Darkness Neosphere because in fiends, that's rather easy to summon. I honestly want to know: What do you WANT from the people viewing your deck? Are you expecting people to praise your deck building skill? Are you expecting everyone to be in awe of the deck? Do you want people to help make changes or tell you in what ways to improve the deck? What do you actually want from the members of YCM? Because here's the final say for most of us: The deck is not awe-inspiring. It is not "good". It is random, too big, and it is frustrating that you insist that the flaws in the deck make it better. Can the deck win? Sure, any deck can win. Is it consistent? Hell no. Is it any match for any of the tournament winning decks that are out there? Hell freaking no. Earlier, I believe you replied to a list of competitive decks saying that decks such as Lightsworn, Zombie-Synchro, Blackwings, etc are horrible and that Synchros are a worthless game mechanic that sucks. As someone who has tested those decks (not even builds of tournament worthy versions) I can say with absolute confidence that1- Most Synchros do not suck. If they did, people wouldn't USE them! (I had my doubts about the mechanic at first, but I actually tested Synchros and found them amazing)2- None of those decks suck unless the player does. (Lightsworn wins so often it's the most boring deck I've ever played with or against.)3- This deck is WAY too slow, weak, and unwieldy to even hold a candle to those decks. Now here's the thing. I had a deck way back when that almost never lost. I had several opponents with different decks and I'd win almost all the games. I didn't want to change the cards in my deck or my strategy (And I did have rather decent cards). But in retrospect, I can see quite clearly that my deck sucked, my opponents' decks sucked, and any player with a competitive deck would thrash me. My deck building skills improved, by observing other decks and taking advice/criticisms, improving the cards I had available to me, and taking note of how decks are supposed to be built, and which cards are considered "good", "conditional", "mediocre", and "horrible". I also took note of the cards most opponents would use. Here's a few: -Smashing Ground, Fissure, Lightning Vortex, Book of Moon, Enemy Controller, Brain Control, Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade, etc-Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Trap Hole, Bottomless Trap Hole, Solemn Judgment, Threatening Roar, Compulsory Evacuation Device, etc A lot of these cards are run in almost every deck. Why? Because they're useful against almost anything. These cards can thrash your Wicked Gods, and after all that work you put into summoning them. Avatar can stop s/ts for 2 turns, but unless you're going to win shortly, those two turns wont give you nearly enough time to win, especially since Avatar's damage is based on other monsters you have out, and your opponent can still kill those in battle or use monster effects to nuke Avatar. Nothing stings as much as to summon Wicked Dreadroot with 3 tributes and having Trap Hole, Bottomless, Compulse etc just clear it off with one card. What do you want to be told from us? We don't fear your deck. It's not fast enough.
Master Hyperion
ITT: 4 Pages of people talking to a brick wall. TC, please drop your ego. Most of the people here are actually willing to help you, but you keep your fingers in your ear and keep saying "LALALALALA IM NOT LISTENING" when actually criticism is given. Also, this section is used for fixing decks, not to show off how big your manhood is. And this deck is bad. If it was for cusual play, I wouldn't mind it too much and give actual give advice for fixing the deck. But since you're claiming to actually have won several tournaments with it, you really need to watch out what you're saying. The Wicked Gods are simply too slow for tourny play, since their Normal Summon requires to give up an enormous card advange, while in the current tourny scene, most OTK are based on an atleast 1-card OTK. Rest of YCM, please drop this topic. If a TC isn't willing to take criticism, let him be. He'll learn the hard way someday. And if you people keep bumping topics like this, decent or better decks are easily lost into the void or have minimal of helpfull comments and retarted topics like this are staying alive. And not everybody cares about the funking funked up meta. Some people just play this game for fun. Or is the game suddenly too complex for people to have actual fun? Seriously YCM, just stop. You're making yourself more idiotic then any other Yugioh forum I have been to.

These are not "opinions". This si slander. Talking down every card im my deck, my friends, and my record and calling the entire thing sh!tty. I did not want prais, but i expected at least a few people to be mature enough to actually give polite critisism. This forum topic has brought maybe three intelligent people. The rest of you need to grow up. A deck is only as good as the player. Any duelist should no that. You could have the sh!ttiest deck in the word and if the player was good he could make something out of it, conversely, you give the easiest best deck in the world to a n00b and they are bound to lose. And enough with the ba reps. I speak my mind you speak yours but stomping on the pride of a fellow duelist without even meating or dueling them is kind of childish. You need to grow up, nuff said. Flame Dragon
Beatdown Fiend Deck' date=' Beatdown Dino Deck, Beatdown/Scramble Dragon Deck, Scramble Spellcaster Deck, and Scrambe E-Hero Deck[/b']Those are the best in my city and school. Everyone I duel is a decent player with deck far superior to structure decks. I don't see why you want to take out such bull s*** on me. Explain more clearly how you could beat me and maybe I'll take it to heart but if all your going to do is insult my deck and the people I duel that that just makes you a coward with no real power to back it up. look, I'm not trying to insult you. but take a look at the bolded, Those are decks, but not "competetive decks." In Regionals and SCJ you do 9-11 rounds of matches against the "Top Tier" decks of the meta. you'll face decks like Blackwings decks that swarms up too 4-5 monters per turn, laying down punishing amounts of Damage in 1 mere turn, backed up by searchign cards like Black Whirlwind, Dark Eruption and the Power of Dark Armed Dragon Lightsworns/Twilight decks that Mill thier own deck to the graveyard so by the second turn, they cna OTK with the field-clearing power of Judgment Dragon/Dark Armed Dragon/Various Synchro Monsters Zombies a very consistant engine lets Zombies swarm with 4 Synchro Monsters per turn the thing that all of these, and all competetive decks have in common is Consistancy, which is the likely-hood of getting of a combo, this is increased by have 40 cards minimum, Draw Power, and Deck-Thinning/Searchers and Explosiveness, which is the strength of the deck. Yes the Wicked Gods are cool and big and neat, but the truth is cards like "Brionic, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Mist Wurm" and other Synchros/Big monsters can destroy/get rid of them with barely any cost to the player and Advantage consider what all the cards you use do, Fissure is worth it because you use one cards to take out one card, but a card lik "Tribute to the Doomed is not" because you use 2 cards to get rid of 1 Half or Nothing is NOT worth it because your opponent can still choose to go through with the battle phase and is completly outclassed by Threatoning Roar or Waboku I'm trying to help you, Iv'e been on the Regional Circuit for half a year now, and it's rough. I don;t care if youv'e won almost all your duels, go to a place like this, and you'll see 200 people with decks that would punish your deck If you don't want my help thats fine, and if you ever wanted to challenge me, I go to CardKid in lancaster PA every Saturday, and am Going ot the Rockville Regional, and the Neew Jersey Shonen Jump later this year. EDIT: use "Dandylion" or "Treeborn Frog" if you want good, fast Tribute FodderEverything there sucks execpt zombies syncros suck their a wast of time and noboby needs them unless your a noob cause you cant fuse like a real duelist i cant imagin how you think your so f***** good if you cant understand how his stragies are formed the best duelists are the ones who spend their night planning out deck stratigies with the cards they made the deck with go ahead and make fun of him but he is still a better duelist than you people you rack on him for making a deck that you think sucks if he can beat tom dustin quinn and I then he can kick any of oyur guys decks matt rocks and i bow to his skillsPlease tell me how those decks "suck" if they are the decks running and placing in the SJC? It isn't hadr to figure out his "stragies" however they all fall flat on their face. I think you've watch the anime to much. This is my last say on this subject. There is no difference between 40 cards and 60 cards. either deck can be equally effective. Now begone with you annoying flies I have morer important things to due that waste my life sitting here on a coputer arguing with worthless idiots60 card decks are no where near as good as 40 card decks seeing as how you will always be less likely to draw the cards you need. Even if you run 3' date=' a 40 card deck still has a better chance of drawing them if they run 3 and the same chance if they only run 2. Duels are never long enough to make some one deck out with 40 cards. Hell even the mill deck I run, which eats at both players decks, only runs a bit more then 40. Yes, given enough luck any one can win, however when you run crap like this it won't happen unless your luck is over 9000!!!. You really need to stop watching the anime. Yea, i feel the same. obvious troll is obviousAs likely as that is, part of me things he isn't trying to troll. Yea, this topic has gotten way out of hand and should have been locked a long time ago. Lock PS: If you want to see what a real deck is like, buy yugioh: wc 09 and play some people on line. Hell, I'll put money on the CPUs being able to beat you.
