You can only activate this card if a Spirit monster you control declared an attack. Remove from play the Spirit monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the Spirit monster. During your next Standby Phase, return it to the field in face-up Attack Position.[/align]

Spirit's can't be special summoned.

It's Spirit-Type monster' date=' not Spirit monster.

For the applying damage, it would be "...the destroyed monster's ATK..." instead of "...the Spirit monster's ATK..."

The card wasnt special summoned, it was returned to the field.

Way to read. Firstly, with this cards effect, the Spirit monster isn't Special Summoned, it's returned to the field, just like with Future Visions field spell card.

And secondly, who said anything about the Spirit monster being destroyed?

Returning it to the field is the same thing.

And I must've wrote that wrong' date=' it's "...half the ATK of the monster removed from play..." or something close to that, not sure.

And check my edit.

No, returning is NOT the same as Special Summoning. If it were, Spirit monsters wouldn't work with the Future Visions field spell.

Anyways let's see your edited post again. DING DING DING, YOU'RE STILL MISSING THE POINT!

No, it's Spirit monster. Spirit isn't a type, it's a sub-type, like Gemini and Union.

For the applying damage' date=' it would be "...the destroyed monster's ATK..." instead of "...the Spirit monster's ATK..."

[/quote']

Just to make it clear to you, who said anything about destroying the Spirit monster? It's removed from play, you special little snowflake.

No. I'm pretty sure Spirit is it's own Card Type. Not Monster Type. But I'm not sure.

I'd love using this card if the opponent tries to stop me. Especially trying to stop me for a OTK. Since it's not a attack going through and then dealing damage, it's balanced. Plus, you get it back without it returning to your hand next turn. <3

Just being Spirit support makes this awesome too.

Its not being Special Summoned, Rag. We said that twice in the thread. Hell, it isn't even being Summoned at all. It's just returning.

Just like sending a card to the graveyard isn't always destroying. Same with summons.
