The contest is simple, make a card that can be used in a Cloudian Deck. No entry fee.

 

You can post cards here, or PM them to me if you're worried about other contestants getting an idea from your card.

 

End Date is when I get 5 valid entries or 2 days, whichever takes longer.

 

The prize is 2 Reps to the winner and 1 to 2nd-5th, probably everyone else.

 

To be accepted cards must be reasonable balanced and have understandable OCG to be accepted, otherwise you will just be rejected from judging.

 

Criteria for judging is as follows:

Playability /50

You will receive up to 50 points for how useful your card is in a Cloudian Deck, including not working against their theme and such. Bonus points if it has some usability outside of a dedicated Cloudain Deck.

 

Balance /50

You will receive up to 50 points for how balanced your card is in a Cloudian Deck and any other Deck it could be used in.

 

Yes, there is no points for a picture. As well as cards from the Card Maker, a Written Card format is acceptable.

 

To be a judge, just ask, I'll accept or deny you based on what I know of you.

im not much of an expert on cloudians though.

 

Lore:

This card can be Special Summoned from your hand by removing from play 3 "Cloudian" monsters you control. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. "Cloudian" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects controlled by your opponent. If this card would be destroyed, you can Tribute 1 face-up "Cloudian" monster you control to negate the destruction. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to remove all Fog Counters on the field. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 for every Fog Counter removed by this effect. If this card is in your Graveyard, during your Main Phase 2, you can remove 2 "Cloudian" monsters from your hand to Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase.

 

also, im not a big fan on the picture but its hard to find decent Cloudian looking pictures.

This card is also treated as a Dragon-Type monster. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. While "Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, the original ATK of this card becomes 2700. You can Tribute this card to increase the ATK of all "Cloudian" monsters you control by 600 until the End Phase.

Re-read the first post which I edited ages ago. I'm only giving out reps to the first 5 positions due to that rule, which still leaves most people in with a good chance.

This card is treated as Dragon-Type.This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. When this card destroys a monster in battle you can Special Summon one "Cloudian" monster from your Hand, by placing this card on the bottom of your Deck.

Yeah, sorry for the delay. I got tired and went to sleep after marking the first 5. Results should be up in the next hour.

HP Doom was the winner, with 75/100 points

 

Sephiroth_The_Legend came in 7th with 50/100 points

 

Frex and Ayasato-chan were tied for 5th, with 60/100 points each.

 

Since I can only give out 6 REPs for the contest, I'm going to give Frex the 5th place Rep and give Aya one that has nothing to do with the contest, officially =p
