On a serious level' date=' no one knows.

This. The proper question is, "What is your meaning of life?"

Not a debateable topic. But for conversation? Sure.

EDIT: All you morons who posted sex, keep it in your pants.

Josh T. [icy] says:

*What is your meaning of life? Or... What is the meaning of life?

*Which is correct?

[sAW]          Sam         says:

*Former.

Josh T. [icy] says:

*Then why did you ask that the topic in General be debated? ;p

[sAW]          Sam         says:

*Because I wanted the latter to be debated.

*And defend the former.

Josh T. [icy] says:

*XD

*I was gonna say...

*But the latter cannot be debate

**debated

*Since we can't come to a conclusion without it being strictly personal opinion.

[sAW]          Sam         says:

*True

But yeah' date=' the meaning of life is breeding.

Just because it's one constant that requires the species to survive, doesn't mean that's the answer. It's your answer.

My answer would be to experience.

If everybody would breed but do nothing else (meh, except feeding themselves), life would still exist.

If everybody would experience their lifes the fullest without breeding one single time, Earth will be out of population in about 300 years (due to some very long-lived deepsea snails, called Nautilus).

Just because it's what makes life exist, that doesn't make it the sole purpose of life.

Breeding is needed, I guess, but it is not the meaning of life. It is merely what makes life exist (and sometimes it doesn't even do that).

It is all about the wording of the question. Per se:

What is the meaning of life? Breeding

What is the meaning of human life? To experience, learn, explore AND breed

What is your meaning of life? Meh, your choice.

The meaning of life would be to... live, as terrible as that sounds, not purely to breed.

The second is right, I guess, but it still depends on personal preference.

And the third is definitely right.

The second does NOT depend on personal preference, that's why I made up the third.

Nothing can define 'human life', it depends on the individual. They both depend on personal feelings.

There is no meaning to life.

You are born out of your mother's womb. You are forced (or at least in this age) to attend school and get an education. You are brainwashed into listening to those of a higher authority than you. But for little reason. Again, it's brainwashing.

You finish school, probably finish college, get a job and start a family. Throughout this times, you feel 'feelings'. Well tough luck, they don't help you much.

You die.

So what have you accomplished? Well, maybe you touched some people's lives. Doesn't matter, as they are going to die soon anyways.

Or maybe you changed the world by inventing the computer. Oh well, world's gonna end fairly soon (few million years) anyways.
