anyways, good bcuz it's a Level 1, and it prevents Synchro summons, and all other SS monsters in today's decks,except for gale.

 

too bad this great sacred turtle demi-god can easily get killed by sirocco and his fkn birdy brothers.

OT: It's an all-around good card. It has a job and it does it well. Easily searchable, solid defense, with good support backing it up.

It wouldn't be able to syncro summon, even if it was a Tuner. Neither player can special summon, the only thing that can get around that is Lava golem since it can tributes it.

i dont know if you /can/ lava golem. the way i understood vanity's ruler and fiend was that you couldnt activate an effect that included special summoning. so no abundance, no golem, etc. this was my understanding at least.

i dont know if you /can/ lava golem. the way i understood vanity's ruler and fiend was that you couldnt activate an effect that included special summoning. so no abundance' date=' no golem, etc. this was my understanding at least.

It's been up in the air, I've seen calling where I could, and where I couldn't on the same monsters. From my point of view, the monsters get tributed first before they can negate. This might go along with oppression, since they can negate my special summon, however I still tribute both of their monsters, he just ends up in the graveyard. It's very Grey Area.

Anyways, The effect is solid, but the card is too weak to survive.

It doesn't work because the Turtle would negate the special summon when it activates, though they may still be tributed... not sure about cost/effect corralation with stuff like this.
