Darj Posted March 12, 2010 Report Share Posted March 12, 2010 I have some comments for some of your monsters: -Assault Brionac has basically the same effect as the Synchro Brionac.-Assault Armor Master is plain overpowered because it inflicts 3000 direct damage easily: all what you have to do is attack. The worst part is that the effect works even if the opponent is defending. Oh, and it can also destroy stall monsters such as "Marshamallon" with ease. But the rest of the cards are good. Although I cannot congratulate you for creativity because to make Assault Modes you only have to improve the effects of the Synchros. Link to comment

"Stronger" doesn't necessarily mean more banworthy.• No, it's not completely dead if drawn, one can simply send it back to the deck through various available effects. • The summoning condition is having one of the most commonly run Synchros and a very searchable trap on the field. And before / if you ask "How would you make a Brionac / Assault Mode, then?", the answer is I wouldn't even make one in the first place. Link to comment

Not exactly because, unlike Assault Armor Master, the Red Dragon doesn't inflict 3000 direct damage. And, as Umbra says, there are many ways to return Assault Modes form your hand to the Deck, so they are not useless when you draw them. "Assault Teleport" was designed to do that. Link to comment

(well, some Synchro are already OP, so /Assault Mode only makes them all the more OP...) I suggest Blackwing Armor Master/Assault Mode's effect to be "When this card battles with a monster, reduce that monster's ATK and DEF to 0 until the End Phase." as to be in accordance to Blackwing Armor Master's effect, which help destroying monster by battle instead of by effect. doomguy500 Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 Half of them are more broken then a lot of banned cards, especially mist wurm, brionac, and armor master. the mist wurm's effect basicly says "return all cards on your opponent's field to their had so you have a clean field to win against ur opponent". and brionic is a reccuring version of that.and the armor master is just a giant juggrenaut that really cant be defeated, and no matter what position, your opponent takes damage. and if it's destroyed, you basicly get it back again.I know that's what an assult mode does, but they arn't THAT broken.I like the idea, but not every synchro should turn into something that good. During the End Phase, you can remove from play all "Majestic Star Dragon /Assault Mode"s in your Graveyard to special summon 1 "Majestic Star Dragon" from your Extra Deck (This counts as a synchro summon).
