school is BORING

1.) And unless you are doing some majorly hands-on type of work, you'll be sitting in a room most of the day as well when you start working.

2.) School is about education, not about playing shitty games. You have time after school to play your WiiBox3 and whatnot.

3.) Actually, most of the subjects in school are fairly interesting (albeit English, that just sucks). And that's why they give you options of electives.

School and college are pretty much needed if you want a good life, but if you want to drop out of school and become a hobo, be my guest. ^_____^

Also, I do agree that they should cut down the amount of homework to a point where it's enough but not excessive. The amount of homework I have per day plus studying plus SAT work (earlier in the year) is just complete bullshit.

One of the reasons I think it's boring is the format of how they make me do work.

I agree. One thing I would like is if the classes you take in high school and the work they make you do was geared towards your future career.

But considering that 99% of people don't know what they want to do in 9th grade, it won't work out too well. =/

1. A lot of my form are, well, not quite so bright, so we have to ridiculously boring stuff like recapping what a Christian is.

2. School doesn't teach TC to spell.

3. RE and English exist.

1.) You have to go to Religion and Geography.

2.) The teachers request you to respect them in a very cold and distant manner

3.) 70% of the times' date=' homework is useless.

1.) Religion isn't a required class in my school, and Geography is tagged along with History, :3

2.) I rarely respect teachers, and they could care less. As long as I don't curse them out.

3.) Ehh, I could debate you on that. Maybe sometimes homework is useless, but more often than not it helps. It's just excessive.

1.) Religion is compulsory here. And History is separate from Geography, and a million times more interesting than it.

2.) I got my Behave Mark reduced by 1 because once when I answered a question at my English class I did it while I was sitting down. So yeah, you get my point.

3.) That's exactly what I meant.

They make you stand up when answering questions? Screw that, I'm too lazy to do that every time I answer something.

And in which case, I agree. Maybe instead of assigning 30 problems for your math homework, they cut it down to 15 or 20. Not only will that relieve stress and add more time to your schedule, but it also amounts to the same amount of practice, essentially.

And let's face it; if you suck suck suck at algebra, no amount of homework will make you do amazing.

Just at English' date=' Romanian, and German. But I was really pissed and tired that day.

I once had the radical thought of a school where NO classes are compulsory, but you must still attend 10 different ones of your damn choice. Except for the facts that some classes would be really crowded whilst others would cease to exist, and that teachers would be paid more, and that it's economically impractical in any way imaginable, it would be cool :D.
