I've been seeing a lot of Japanese cards which look really cool! So i made my very first GREEK CARD!!! Tell me what you think! (For translation, used Google Translate)

Level 8

EARTH : Plant-Type

ATK / 0 : DEF / 0

Card Lore:

This card's Type is also treated as the Type of every monster in both players' Graveyard. This card gains 1000 ATK for every monster on the field with the same Type as this card. Once per turn, you can select 1 monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon that monster and equip it to this card (you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). If this card would be destroyed, remove from play the equipped monster instead.

 

Note:

The purpose of this card is ATK and protection. Many Archetypes have the same type, so this card's ATK becomes very large. Also, it can fit in just about any Type deck, since it replicates their types. Plus, having 0 ATK makes it easily searchable and summonable. This card is also great in plant decks, which can easily summon it, and since they specialize in swarming, the ATK of this card skyrockets.

The card is good. If that card has the same type as all cards in the Graveyard you can just write "Special Summon 1 card from your graveyard" 8/10 cause I thing this card can be better

 

I guess. That part about it adapting to Graveyard was actually added later. It originally was to adapt all cards on field, but decided to change cause it would be too powerful (easy 5k ATK). I guess i should change. Good eye.

Sorry, this was photoshopped and took a long time to make. 1 card i can do but a set... too much.

type should be Type D:

 

just that error I find... and for the text in Greek I foun many erros D: JK XD I don't speak Greek :S

 

Amazing card you got there but the part that I like the most is the Pic D: I want it D:

Ugh i can't believe i missed type! Or miss typed... err...

YOU could just use google translate.

 

I could, except I use YCM's card maker, which does not support that language. I'm assuming he's using something like MSE?

 

No, just regular YCM, but photoshopped the text in, with the holo etc.

No.... Equip cards are always treated as spell cards.

Pic is good, OCG seems good and I'm a fan of the idea, but I still think this reeches of OPness.

 

1. As a point, this card's ATK is auto 1000 - since the card itself has the same type and nothing says it excludes itself. - Mute point.

 

2. This card gains 1000 ATK so if you just use Ojama Trio and Scapegoat and you auto have an 8000 ATK beatstick; that's assuming the opponent doesn't already have monsters out. And before there's any argument, if "DNA Surgery" is on the field there is no monster that won't feed this monster.

Note: I know its possible that analogy would be Banlist unacceptable, but it was jsut to make a point from what little real card knowledge I have in my head.

 

Rating: 5/10 - I love this card idea and it is a well thoughtout card, but its still OP in my book. Unless you can convince me otherwise, that's all I can say.

You can't have more than 5 monsters on the field o.O the Max ATK of this card with your opponent would be 10000... then it doesn't matter o.O cuz your opponent would have enough time to plain something o.O (just 1 turn o.O)

I see your point, but there's many strategies that can cause an OTK and this one just takes too much cards. Plus, The Wicked Eraser has a similar effect, except without the restrictions and it also includes spells and traps. Also, there are many cards in the game that can increase ATK to a high amount. This card requires a full field of monsters to gain 10k atk and then you'd have to pick at your opponent's monsters to get to their LP and they'd likely make a combat (Plus by then it's ATK would've dropped). It's very hard to even get the ATK of this card over 3k. You'd need 2 other present monsters, and they'd have to be same type. Even with DNA surgery, the ATK of this card will not ever likely reach 5k. Monsters don't tend to stay on the field very long.

 

5 points is WAY too much for just a possible OTK strategy. You even said you loved the card.
