I think I just got cucurbitophobia.

What?

A Fighting-typed legend in Ubers would actually do decent, considering that no sane person uses Psychic when everything else is Psychic. xD

Bug... super-effective on Dark, Psychic... but it does have that SR weakness. Eh.

Who says it needs to be uber. A fighting legend would just be cool. As for Bug, we just need less bad Bugs. We only have like 5/6 decent ones.

But as far as how they would do in ubers, Fighting, even without the fear of Psychic, won't really be able to make use of it's STAB since, as you put it, everything IS Psychic.

Bugs would be able to do damage. Even more if they give it a second type to counter the Rock weakness. However they do what the often do with Bugs and make it part Flying then it might suck.

So, I'm just now getting caught back up with everything. TM's doesn't disappear after one use? What's the difference between a TM and HM now? They should just now make it the M's.

I really hope we get to see the starters evo's soon. I want to know what pokemon I'm going to use in the game. Also, the alligator/croc is still my favorite pokemon revealed yet. Ugh, it's going to be forever until these games are released.

Well, can't be replaced and can be used out in the field. Most other moves can't do that. We should get a lot more info by months end. We should have all the info on the game in about a month.

The Croc is one of the cooler new pokemon. He's evo is sure to be badass.

Um, the main purpose of HM Moves is to help you navigate in the overworld. I wonder if they still have to be deleted by a Move Deleter, tho.

I hope Tsujarta evolves into some kind of dragon appearance-wise, not necessarily type-wise.

The Mijumaru evos had better be good, though. Miju looks the ugliest of the three to me.

We've seen the middle forms of those two already, if it matters.

hopefully they make the new Grass/Bug at least decent

The typing already makes it bad... The stats would need to be ridiculous.

A decent Grass/Bug type? Isn't that an oxymoron within itself?

Fighting is a perfectly fine defensive type. Resistance to Rock and Dark, and it is only hit super-effectively by two types, both of which are nonexistant in Ubers.

Also, a lot of monoPsychics don't use STAB. It's not that big of a deal.

though its final form may have a different type maybe

though a fire/bug would not be that bad to see

Fire/Bug would be 4x weak to Rock. That isn't a good thing.

Given defensive stats, it might not be bad. With resistance to Elec, Fighting, Water, and 4x to Ground and Grass it would be able to take hits. It's only major weakness would be Fire (easy to cover with Heatran), Rock (this one suck), and Ice (Heatran again). The pairing works even more since Grass/Bug resist Fire/Steels weakness, so it COULD work.

While those defenses are nice, odds are it's stats won't be their to back it up. Plus taking neutral damage from most types doesn't help given the extreme power of most attacks in ubers so it would only be able to take a few hits.

I don't get how I missed that. I knew Psychic types don' use Psychic moves and it works fine but for some reason I couldn't realize the same thing would apply for Fighting.

Glaceon in Dream world will have a near ability called Ice body

Also Sandstorm Teams i think just got a Boost ability wise

2 new abilities the mole has

Sand throw: doubles speed during sandstorm

Sand power: Boosts the power of Ground, Steel, and Rock type attacks during a Sandstorm

Also the new Bug pokemon's attack Bug resistance hits twice and lowers Sp. Defense of opponent

Again, Rock-types get +1 SpD in Sand, so maybe they'll get around to giving Ice-types +1 Defense in Hail. Then it doesn't matter if Sandstorm gets a boost, as Hail is equally as viable (as it hurts more of the metagame).

Sun and Rain are still useless in OU, sadly.

Sandstorm would still be more viable because they get better Pokemon and they ave better auto-weather stuff that people would use regardless of how good or bad Sandstorm is.

sandstorm: Garchomp T-Tar aerodacytl

Hail: What do they have again thats decent O.o

also if pokemon gets double speed in Sandstorm and has good Atk n Def it will be force be reckon with.

Even having the extra Boost to an attack that is the STAB of the pokemon can make it stronger as along as the BaseStats agree with it

Do you have a problem with Abomasnow? Granted it has pretty bad typing, but it does have auto-hail and decent stats.

I was wrong in saying that it would be as viable as Sandstorm, but it would still be used significantly more in OU, considering that a lot of Specially Defensive Ice-types (Regice) would get a boost. It still sucks about SR, though.

Abomasnow is decent but can be put out by T-Tar, Aero, or Garchomp than throw the most likely Stealth rock damage

though the 100% acc of blizzard in hail does help them out

Why do you keep bring up Chomp? He's uber (crap, I was beat to the punch). As for Aero, he's almost only used as a suicide lead.

Hail is a good. Aboma, Walrein, and Rotom F create a decent team of offense and Stall. Swamp and Fort help round out the team weaknesses as well as being strong pokemon themselves. From their you'll still have a slot open. Hail isn't the best, but shouldn't sell it short.

Rain is viable in OU IMO.

And if they are giving weather more attention this gen Hail as well as the other 2 are also likely to get a boost. And Sandstorm is only used because T-Tar is getting used. If it wasn't for him we would't see any where near as much.

brought up Chomp as i am unaware of the competitve battle stuff as i have not access to it i don't play anything attention to it O.o

Anyways They still need to tell use what Teravolt n Turboblaze do

it would cool if they made non-legendary pokemon with drought and drizzle (2 separate pokemon) with decent BaseStats n move pools.

that would help out Sun n Rain teams out a bit
