Credit to HP Doom for the idea.

This is my attempt at a Set. So of course, I expect everyone to come in, and then leave, Obviously. But still, it was a fun idea. Anyway, the Archetype/Set focuses on Topdecking in a way. But not in the Luck kind of way. So er, I don't know if they're overpowered because two of the test cards I posted had good feedback saying they're not.

So here, shut up and enjoy. <3

Seeker - Recycle Reviver added to Monsters
Seeker - Necro Blade

444759n.jpg

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when a "Seeker" monster is Tributed by the effect of a "Seeker" monster. Seeker - Roaring Beast

444759q.jpg

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can select 1 Tuner monster in your Deck and place it on the top of your Deck. Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, your opponent randomly selects 1 card in their hand and sends it to the bottom of their Deck.

Seeker - Hidden Striker

444759tf.jpg

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

If a "Seeker" monster was used as Synchro Material for the Synchro Summon of this monster, destroy 1 card on the field and select 1 Trap Card in your Deck and place it on the top of your Deck. During your Main Phase 2, you can Tribute this card to inflict damage to your opponent equal to this cards ATK and then Special Summon it during your next Main Phase. If this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, its effects are negated.

Its kinda like the opposite of Lightsworn isn't it? Lightsworn is Light that focuses on self milling, while the Seekers are Dark that focus on putting cards on the top of your deck. I like the toolbox ability this archetype has. Very few, but still present OCG errors.

You can select 3 cards in your Deck, add 1 of the cards to your hand and place the other two cards on the top of your Deck in a random order. Then, discard 1 card.

The two should be 2.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when a "Seeker" monster is Tributed. When this card is Special Summoned this way, select 1 card in your Graveyard and place it on the top of your Deck OR select 1 Level 3 or Lower Seeker monster in your Deck and place it on the top of your Deck.

Seeker should be "Seeker."

Also, as a balance issue, I think Necro Blade's effect should be edited to this:

You can Special Summon this card from your hand when a "Seeker" monster is Tributed by the effect of a "Seeker" monster. When this card is Special Summoned this way, select 1 card in your Graveyard and place it on the top of your Deck OR select 1 Level 3 or Lower "Seeker" monster in your Deck and place it on the top of your Deck.

...

I actually didn't notice that AT ALL, until you brought it up. o_O

Comparing their effects, this does seem like the opposite of Lightsworns. And if you put this with Lightsworns, you won't have that much of a terrible drawback like GladSworns. >_>

I could've sworn that Necro Blade was already for a Seeker's effect only. Thanks. Both fixed.

I like it^^ Now i would make Seeker monster that activate their effect when you drw them, or when they're send to the Graveyard from top of your Deck. Or removed from play while on top of your Deck. *Points at Dimensional Alchemist*

EXCELLENT IDEA.

Will do. Thanks HP.

OCG is fine on all of the cards

So this is a new thread!? Haha...

Well. See no errors and the new cards follow the same pattern and makes a great support for the "older" cards.

The Synchro might be hard to Summon since it's Level 8 and you have a Level 3 Tuner but no Level 5 monster. (The Synchro has a Koa'ki Meiru mark on it D:)

See the problem? But I still love them. Now you just need to make some cards to use the topdecking to inflict damage.

9.6/10

Yeah, forgot to PM about the Update. Sorry. xD

Ah, but the Synchro isn't just for this. It's actually somewhat Generic. SS Cyber Dragon, Summon a Level 3 Tuner (Or Necro Teleporter) and Sync into him for fun. ;D

Topdecking Burn?

You people just keep feeding me ideas BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME.

Thanks.

Also, no one pointed out that Teleporter was a EARTH. o_O

Need to fix.

Unique way of recycling. I like, lots.

My only issue (lol usually is the same one) is that your way of recycling leaves little room for anything other than monsters D=

Draw Power?

*Slaps Reckless Greed' date=' Cup Of Ace, and Cyber Valley in their*

Done. ;D

Next cards will focus on Draw Power then. Thanks.

[/quote']

Reckless Greed would slow down the Idea of the Set of Top Deckin causing a little Lockdown for your self...

Cup of ace, still you have 50-50 of chance to Draw...

Cyber Valley could be the best of the three ^^

These have too much top decking power. Add Life Points costs or more restrictions. OCG seems fine to me. Pics are quite excellent.

7/10

with more draw backs: 9.5/10

I knew it was going to be overpowered. Everyone says that it's fine though. D:

Will add Life Point costs or Draw Phase skipping. Thanks Luna.

Found 1 error in the Trap Card, "owners" -> "owner's".

Anyways, the Trap Card can really be a pain since it can be activated from your hand. And for no cost.

The Spell Card can be even more dangerous since your card sent to the bottom of the Deck will much likely be able to return to the top due to the effects of the monsters. And your opponent's card will stay at the bottom of their Deck. But the conditions are exactly the same for both players, so it is well balanced.

9.4/10 Fix OCG and I'll raise to 9.5

Simple effects, yet very playable in this/a topdecking deck.

EDIT: Still wanna see some burn cards! ;D

Actually, there is no 's in the cards, it's suppose to be like that. I think.

Gah. Already having more balance issues. Thanks Tom.

EDIT: You'll get your lulzy burn next! 8D

@Recteik: Thanks.

We don't ignore the BannList ^^ we just play he Trad format ;D

OT:Looking that you are going to add Draw Phase Skips.... I would go for Reckless Greed

But then... they're not OPed... as I said, preparing the Assault isn't everything here... This Set would be easily defeated by a Mill Deck =/ you would just add and add your "Best" cards and then your opponent would mill them =/

After all, your're not drawing the cards =/
