on sunday, I went to see How To Train Your Dragon in 3d with my dad and sister, got in the line for our tickets, then got to the front and found out that we had to PAY for the 3d glasses! what a rip off!! Later that day, my dad told someone about it on facebook and someone he knows who actually works in the film industry and he said that it was illegal but I'm still not sure. Could you fill me in please?

Wow. 4 more dollars. What a horrible crime.

It isn't just that' date=' It's the fact that they charge us extra for the fact that it's in 3d, then charge you extra to watch it. That's the worst part.

If you don't like it so much then go watch the regular versions of the movies.

if you hav to pay $4 dollars more for a 3-d than thats reasonable

production of the glasses costs money you know

They already charge you extra for the 3D movie. The production cost should already be included in the extra money that they charge you for the ticket.

Anyways, we used to get to keep the 3D glasses in Estonia, but not anymore (the classes back then were made of paper etc. so that's understandable).

You are supposed to get 3D glasses for free to watch the film but you have to give them back at the end of the film. The person trying to sell them should be sacked so you should see the boss of the employee and sue the employee.

Because suing an employee for doing his job is at all a viable solution to any situation >.<

I want to see that movie... anyway back on topic:

How would any one of us know if it was illegal? My guess would be no, because that would most likely be the stupidest law ever made. I agree with you that it was unfair, because you are already paying for the 3-D movie. they should include the 3-D glasses with the movie ticket.
