* Syntax: the study of the rules for the formation of grammatical sentences in a language.

Effect: The effect is basically taking the aspect of the number of letters in a card name and converting them to an advantage. The first effect takes advantage of extremely small names like Athena. The 2nd effect takes advantage of really big names like Gorz the Emissary of Darkness.

It immediately starts off with 1300 ATK (for itself).

But nonetheless' date=' it's broken.

Hello? Revive anything for less than 2000 LP for the most part?

Ever heard of The Creator?

That's not a monster that lies in your Extra Deck waiting for simple monsters and splashable tuners to throw you out and you don't waste hand advantage reviving stuff from your Graveyard.

Yes. 2 Tributes. Can't be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, requires a discard cost, fixed ATK and DEF. Low ATK for a Lv.8, so a liability for the first turn.

Whereas this...Summon "Junk Synchron", Special Summon a Level 2 non-Tuner and "Quillbolt Hedgehog", and there you go...not very difficult. Or...even more simply, Special Summon "Cyber Dragon" then any Level 2 Tuner from your hand.

It's incredibly easy to summon, and can Special Summon almost any monster for almost no cost. And when your opponent summons monsters, it powers up even further. It's very broken.

You have Athena in your graveyard. You activate this card's effect. You pay 600 (Since 6 letters in name of Athena) to Special Summon Athena.

There's your example o.o

That part of the effect is ok, but the second half is impractical because its ATK would fluctuate much like Slifer, its harder to keep tabs in that respect. plus its boost could easily reach over 1000 plus its actual atk is 1350 not 1000, it would be to tedious to keep track of in my opinion perhaps only monsters on your side of field will balance it out more and make it less tedious

Really depends on the monster. When you put it that way, this card is extremely OP. But remember, Synchros are generally OP.

It's not rare to find a Synchro who has a more powerful effect then a 2 tribute monster.

This card's effect really relies on the monster's name. A large name like gorz would be a 2500 life point cost. The effect is well balanced in my point of view, and if the creator is considered broken, then this card is too. Otherwise, it's not so broken.

The effect is very flexible and could go from OP to UP in a short moment especially in archetype decks where the archetype name increases the length of the name.

I'd set this card's base ATK to 0' date=' only because it has so much potential for brokenness. That, or give it a summon restriction. I love the whole concept, and the pic is good, although I suspect you could find one that better illustrated the concept.

If base was 0 ATK, it's atk wouldn't even reach 3k.

What's wrong with pic? O.o
