Hmmm.... let's see. Utah's involved so obviously this entire event is to be completely blamed on the Mormons. Great logic there. Kindly don't go blaming the church as they had no direct involvement in the decision. You talk like Mormons look for opportunities to do this. I don't want to fight over this, in fact I don't want to post here anymore after this but I can't let this point just go like that. All I ask is that you don't blame a church for something that wasn't their fault. It's very inconsiderate.

 

And I will say this. If this guy wanted his kid he should have married his girl friend before even trying to have the kid. Problem would have been solved right there.

 

I mentioned the mormons because the article itself explicitly said it's due to their belief in a 2 parent family being the only good kind that's causing Utah to prevent the adoption. And church of latter-day saints = mormons >_>

Tis the American Society. A majority of the time they rule in the favor of the mother. Here in Louisiana near my area a mother abused her child in ways similar to the way the mother in the novel "IT" treated her son. However the father was still alive and lived far away. Our town's ordinance says children abused by their parents may go to School Staff and tell them this and the teachers HAVE to do something about this. The kid's father was told and also tried to get custody but the court ruled that his mother was so dependent on him that she would kill herself so they ruled that he be kept with his mother.

 

I am glad not to be American because their government is fu**ed up.
