Chthonian Emperor Dragon [DISC]

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

● This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.

This actualy a decent gemeni. discuss.

Honestly, I wish Konami would continue to print cards with the same effect as this guy.

Now-a-days, we get junk like:

If this card atacks a face-up monster' date=' and destroys that monster as a result of battle, and sends it to the Graveyard, this card can declare an attack again agenst another face-up monster your opponent controls.[/quote']

Really, why is it so bad that we have monsters that can easily double attack?

though an odd set of events, I have 5 double attackers, each with 2400 ATK, and you have 24,000 life points, which should normaly keep you alive to your next turn regardless of what I hit you with. I attack you with all of them 2 times each, resulting in an anime like 10 attack beatdown ftw.

course, it would be much easier to make the situation of you having double x-saber reviving frog and I have grasschoper and some new checkers themed card that forces both players to activate any effects they have a choice normaly for.

so, yeah, I agree with you, there should be more, but they do make situations where just one more attack would win you the game, and now you have it.

Because Konami believes that if a monster can attack twice with no costs/drawbacks/conditions, it's automatically broken. So they give it extra crap to make it seem perfectly fine in their opinion.

OT:

Fun card is fun.

LolEquips in WC10 made him even more fun.

I dont even really care if said monster has an ATK of 900. Konami needs to stop adding crappy gimiics to limit a 2nd attack to the point of where its not even worth it.

I can think of why we don't have simple double attackers

Hyabusa Knight + Scapegoat + United We Stand

10000 damage

Obveiously this is NOT the reason.

IIRC, the most recent double attacker without some stupid restriction on it is Morphtronic Boomboxen, which is the embodiment of most Morphtronic OTKs.

I can see why they would stop no-drawback double attackers. A few of them are too good.

Aside from Warriors, Dragon-Types, and MAchines, any other Double Attacker should be left as is.
