The shouldn't you be nearsighted? Farsighted is for people who can see things that are far away while nearsighted is for people who can see thing close up.

 

I'm nearsighted and I do wear glasses.

I got my eyes checked because I sat in the back of every class and I couldn't see anything. It turns out I needed them, but when I got them they moved people and I was at the front of the room. =/

 

So now I wear them for headaches. =/ Which I have right now.

Yes.

 

My left eye is practically dead (in terms of nearsightedness), and my right eye is actually fine enough to see properly without the glasses, but it can't see anything too outrageously far.

Well I wear glasses for short eyes too. Used to think it was "nerdy" since everyone tried to tell me that you don't look like a real lady, like some universal idea of "cool" with glasses, yadda yadda.

 

But I don't really care anymore, I really like my new glasses.%-) Better that than not recognizing people...
