Coffee Black
I know Light of Intervention and Battle Mania seems like a good combo, but it's not. It's inconsistent. I suggest forgetting Malicious Fiend's effect and enjoy for it's high ATK. This is gonna seem wierd, but using Prisma, Malicious Edge, and Summoned Skull(yes, Summoned godamned Skull) could work. Oh, and 1 more thing:g-g-g-giant soldier of stone???? inb4hypocriticalforsuggestingnormalthenrediculingone

Ragnus
Giant Soldier of Stone also serves as a Rock Monster, so it can be used for the Fusion Summon of Dark Gaia.

Coffee Black
If you want Dark gaia, you should focus on high ATK. using Soldier of Stone for defense doesn't seem all that great.
Guest Delinquent Girl NiAtSoFi
I put the Giant Soldier of Stone in there for Defensive Purposes. Can I handle this, Al? Al Borland: Sure thing, NiAtSoFi, who is the greatest player on YCM. Dark Gaia demands moar ATK! Run Fossil Tusker/ KM Sandman over Stone Soldier. Run Darkness Neospheres, Giant Orcs, and Goblin Elites for Fiends! If you want Malicious Fiend, use Dark-Hex instead.
.Nu-13
If you want to focus your deck on Dark Gaia, you should run more High-ATk Fiends and Rocks
Ragnus
The deck isn't focused around Dark Gaia. The main purpose behind the deck is to weaken the opponent defenses, to the point where it's no longer possible to play defense.
Coffee Black
ok, so you want a more anti-meta like deck? Doomcaliber Knight is good, as well as Legendary Jujitsu Master. Even though you say this isn't to get dark gaia, most of the deck looks like it's meant to be aggressive and summon dark gaia easy.
T3RA PROWL3R
Thousand Needles is better than Jujitsu Master. Needles destroys the monster rather than returns it to the hand. Although, I may be thinking that Jujitsu returns ANY monster that battles it.
Coffee Black
Thousand Needles is better than Jujitsu Master. NObringing that sheet into the conversation is just bad, especially for not being a rock either.
Sander
Thousand Needles is better than Jujitsu Master. A monster that battles with this Defense Position card is returned to the top of its owner's Deck at the end of the Damage Step. When this Defense Position card is attacked and if the DEF of this card is higher than the ATK of the attacking monster' date=' destroy the attacking monster at the end of the Damage Step.[/quote'] How is Thousand Needles better than Legendary Jujitsu Master again? Ragnus
Giant Soldier of Stone is crap. Your excuses are crap aswell. If that's the case, then i've got nothing to worry about. And if you're going to make fun of me, atleast make the jokes a good one. There's nothing wrong with Giant Soldier of Stone. It's even been stated several times on the official Konami Website that the card is very useful. That's one of the reasons I use it.

Konami is trying to sell cards, not provide good strategies. That's why we get so many crappy cards per year. They released legal versions of Obelisk and Ra because they knew the Egyptian God fanboys and kids would spend like crazy to get them. Stone Soldier is terrible. It's worse as a target to summon Dark Gaia. In a deck that uses Dark Gaia, your Rock monsters should be beatsticks.
