Fiber Jar

I don't want to hear any, "reset game is unacceptable, ban ban ban" or, "r2broken". If Fiber Jar were brought back @1, how would the game be affected? Life Points, both burn and heal, would be worth a bit more since they're one of the few things that pass through it, and RFGing a card gets a new dimension because it's suddenly available through DDR/whatever and you can be sure your opponent won't draw it. Things like Nobleman of Crossout would also be more used because flipping a Fiber at a bad time could be dangerous. Would these effects be positive or not? Discuss the knock-on effects of Fibers existence in a meta.

well, people would have to manage their resources a bit better. they can't be reckless and take massive LP damage for this one reason. RFG becomes fun. hitting all your opponent's top cards and then doing a Fiber Flip is great. or hit a scout plane or 2, flip jar and and have some monsters on your field during End Phase. It would change the meta a little. Crossout would see play for the simple reason. Hit a flip, knock some cards out and Fiber in peace knowing you won't see Ryko or Spy again.

Bottomless becomes awesome if Jar comes back.

@TC: the link isn't working. All I get is a google search page. Is that supposed to happen' date=' or what?

OT: Everyone would run it. And like Sephiroth said, people would be teching a Nobleman of Crossout.

I can see this being a pain to LS decks if it's played right.

Not sure if everyone would run it. Considering the fact is, if your opponent is running it, why bother? Let them run it and you run something you'd rather use.

@Jabby

Google is perfectly good for finding what a card does.

It makes games last too long.

ITT: Fiber gives me 8000 LP again.

If anything, it could make games shorter by allowing you to throw whatever you can at Life Points then set a Fiber, stopping people from being too conservative.

I can see this making me play TRA or Android more for the nice LP boosts, and Doomcal becomes even better because you can stop a reset when you're winning.

It makes games longer but most games are played on time and this would be used as a stall tactic.

Use Android, gain a little bit of life and wait till time is over. That's gonna be more of a problem than a simple reset.

It doesn't do a very good job of stall considering you have 1 copy in a 40 card Deck and it won't help you if your opponent has any burn or even any removal that doesn't flip it - DAD, Brio, Irou, Caius, whatever. It's a good card, but Decks based around stalling with it would probably fail miserably.

There are ways to get around those you know. Divine Wrath's, Doomcali, Bottomless even. Obviously its not meant for heavy duty stall but can help add to that stall factor while you wait for time to be called.

The fact a simple set card would basically say "fuuuuuu" to any kind of field advantage you worked hard to set up is not good. Its one hell of a top deck when you're losing.

Your Field: Stardust, Colossal Fighter, 2 back row

Your Hand: 3 Cards

My Field: No Cards

My Hand: Top Decked Fiber Jar

I'm suddenly back in the game.

Every one would run a copy just for the "oh shiz I'm losing and can't do anything about it" moment. People would be more cautious of set monsters and every one would feel like punching someone when it's flipped on them.

Sarcasm right?...

Last topic this was discussed I was told it did not recycle itself

The people who told you that are indeed correct. If destroyed in battle' date=' this is in limbo until it finishes resolving.

Lol'ed I want to know the Limbo )=

IT:

"When the effect of "Fiber Jar" is activated, "Fiber Jar" itself is united with the Deck, even if it has been attacked and destroyed as a result of battle."

A BKSS ruling... I should've seen that coming.

I could imagine this being fun with RFP decks, Final Countdown decks, anybe even in Burn decks. With so much generic destruction running around, though, I'm not sure if this would help anywhere else.

I imagine this card would be pretty fun with Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell. Just slowly make your opponent's Spell Cards unusable....
