with that said, let's get started. I seem to be the only one who's worried about the state of my class, I feel different. Here's why:

1. I don't have a facebook account at 12

A lot of people like myself find this to be a useful site for keeping in contact and getting contact easily. Of course obsessing over an internet site is one thing, but that applies for everything.

 

2. I actually pay attention to the age ratings

Congratulations, you little societal tool you? Ratings are nothing but an idea, judging one's character on age is a sweeping generalization, and defining certain concepts such as language and sex as being appropriate for certain age groups only is just as much of one. Kind of funny that you bought into it, though.

 

3. I don't have a mobile phone at 12

Okay, I'm starting to see a trend here. You're someone that follows rules laid before you by adults and doesn't communicate with others all that much. As a result you find no need for a phone or something like Facebook, and find it odd that others do.

 

4. I don't use slang exessively

Nice god awful spelling you got there, Tex. And don't shove your beliefs that one thing is bad on everyone else. What do swears do that any other words can't? They're simply another venue of expression declared as taboo by society.

5. I ACTUALLY TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

 

I'm not joking, I can't go 2 minutes in my class without someone making an offansive and unfunny remark, and this goes on throughout THE WHOLE F**KING SCHOOL. I am about to tare my hair out with frustration. If you are similar, then please tell me so that I know that I am not alone.

Elementary School are you kidding me? Its going to be a whole lot worse in Middle School, horrible just so horrible. As for youngsters datin', using Facebook, being whores, etc. it's just the reality of a new generation having too much freedom, which can be both good and bad. Thus, lil versions of classy women and pimpin' daddies are born :D along with brand new ideals and morals... o_o kinda scary, but the teens (17-20) mostly turn conservative, wishing it to turn back the way it was lol
