ULTIMATE BLOODTHIRSTER - Op'ed?

This is a very polarised card which seems very Op'ed at first. But is it?

Overpowered by a tad bit. Should be less than 3000 and more than 2500. I'd make it 2600.

Actually I don't consider this OP'ed, this attack could be negated easily with "Negate Attack", "Magic Cylinder", "Waboku", "Shrink", "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow", "Magical Arm Shield", "Slip of Fortune", "Nightmare Wheel", "Dark Spirit of the Silent", "Draining Shield" and moar... OCG errors, picture it's good, I would say it's even UP'ed. 5/10

i wouldnt say its underpowerd but its atk points are a bit too high 3000 or more is strictly reserved for more difficult to play monsters maby 2950 would be just right

In certain respects, I agree with Alcander.

 

All Byak has brought to this thread has been an argument - you have criticised people without correcting it or even giving a reason. You have not even given any proper feedback on the card, which is essentially the point of this Forum existing. Alcander's correction may well be wrong, but it would be nice to help him out with it instead of just laughing at him.

What people run are cards such as D-Prison and Mirror Force, which destroy monsters anyways.

The only deck this would be weak against is Final Countdown.

 

This card is broken because:

Skill Drain negates it's effect and allows it to run over almost any monster in the game.

 

I'm not a kid trying to prove to anyone that I'm better, I just know how to play the game well.

Not a neg rep!

I didn't laugh at his OCG, I laughed at the fact that most of the cards he brought up were bad cards and no one plays them. If you can't figure out why, you're not exactly good at this game.

 

Once again, basically what I was saying was that Skill Drain allows this card to run over almost any monster in the game (Provided there's no Honest/Kalut/Shrink), except I assumed that was easy to realize.

 

EDIT: Also, I didn't come onto the thread to laugh at OCG corrections, I posted my opinion on why this card is OP'd and stated that more than half of the cards Alacander brought up aren't used so there's no point in using them as a reason to why this card would be UP'd.

I know there are better cards than these ones, "Sakuretsu Armor" for example the point on my comment was that this card could be destroyed by his own effect, without problems just using cards "that no one runs".

(1) lol... Mirror Force isn't banned.

 

(2) That's where you're wrong. s/t removal today consists of MST, Heavy, and then monsters such as Lyla, Celestia, JD, BRD, etc...

The only spells or traps that see use are MST, Heavy, Trunade, and Dust Tornado. Not a huge pool.

Also, Skill Drain Anti-Meta isn't horrible at all and gives this card more use.

And also, Forbidden Chalice if you want. :l

 

(3) While I agree that it's not impossible for this card to be stopped, probably the only good cards that would do that today are T-Roar, Battle Fader (But it would be negated by Skill Drain), maybe Waboku, and... Maybe Necro Gardna still. Once again not a huge pool.

Cards that stop battle are for the most part very outclassed by destruction cards.

 

You're missing the point that this is a 3050 beater that can run over almost any monster in the game if Honest/Kalut/Shrink/etc. isn't involved.

It's your point of view and I respect that, yeah I'd not noticed that this card could be OP'ed by using "Forbidden Chalice" and yes, the ATK of this card it's a little high for his Level. Well here on Mexico, you must add some of the cards I said or you're lost and remember that it also depends on how you wanna run your Deck for example some people increase their Life Points and then use a LIGHT monster, can't remember it's name but it deals damage depending your and your opponent's LP. >_<

So maybe Scrap-Iron has some use, but really, do you see people topping with cards like that?

 

Also, LP gain is a bad deck.

 

Also, check the banlist. Mirror Force is not banned.

anyways this cards effect balances out if and only if the attack does not equal or exeed 3000 attack. therefore change the attack below 3000 and your OK however most people would agree that 2500ish arounfd that is resonable more a lvl 6.

 

and the fact that Skill drain is a powerhouse with this card is not unstoppable, in fact Barbaros is about as effective as this card with skill drain and it isnt banned or even limited(skill drain is limited to 2)
