I made yugioh fun again (XL Format)

These are the rules I made to how you play this style, XL FORMAT.

 

1. Highlander style format (only 1 copy is allowed)

2. You must have 1 boss monster (a Level 6 or higher)

3. You must have 5 monsters made for defense (DEF, stall, etc.) AT LEAST

 

4. You must run AT LEAST 5 Normal Monsters

5. You must include AT LEAST 1 Normal Monster that is level 7 or higher

6. You can activate cards the turn you set them ONLY if it is to counter another Trap Card your opponent activates.

7. Rule 1 can be ignored only if the monster mentions other copies of itself in its text/if a Fusion Monster lists the same fusion. EX) BEUD.

8. You can Normal Summon monsters in face-up Defense Position.

 

 

So I mixed up some rules with highlander/usual anime how to play stuff/some I made up, and you have to throw in a whole bunch of crap fun cards into your build.

 

So what would be meta?

 

Discuss how you could play in this format. I hope I didn't make in flaws in my design....oh well. 8)

Decks would be far too un-coordinated to be any fun to play in a format like this. These rules don't encourage good deckbuilding at all <_

Unless one person scoops due to boredom of reaching say turn 15 (children have attention spans worse than gnats nowadays).
