I recieved an email from konami about darksouls timing

It triggers once each time it goes to the Graveyard. You will be able to search for 2 monsters.

 

 

Darksoul cannot miss its timing. It is a mandatory effect that triggers when it is sent from your side of the field to the Graveyard. You cannot retain priority after using it to Synchro Summon Brionac because of Darksoul’s mandatory effect.

I thought it activated, possibly multiple time chaining to itself, during the End Phase. The missing Prio thing is new to me.

This a little different than your standard "miss the timing" event that other cards have.

 

The reason why you miss the timing of cards is because the optional effect that occurs must happen when it is triggered or els will miss the timing if it cannot do that.

 

At the time this trigger occurs for Darksoul, it creates another trigger of "During the end phase". Triggers are never optional, they happen automatically in response to something, it is the activation of the effects that can be optional.

 

You base whether or not it can miss the timing based on this new trigger, not the original trigger. Since the trigger is "During the End Phase", you cannot miss the timing because effects that trigger to a Phase can be activated at any time during said phase and do not chain together.

Just imagine:

Hand: Faultroll and Cat or Monk (B/C we all know who he will search for.)

Activate Cate to get Airbellum & Darksoul at that time SS Fualtroll Synchro for Hylunei. Search for 2nd Faultroll. And SS him. Activate both Faultrolls for Darksoul and Airbellum. Then tune with both for Lvl 6 or tune for Gottoms.

 

That's Pro that possible geting 3 fualtroll's and Hylunei + lvl6.

This doesn't all happen in one turn, as Darksoul's effect resolves during the End Phase. If it was whenever he is sent to the Graveyard, he'd be a broken version of Sangan for X-Sabers.
