Perhaps something that negates their need for a field spell? Liek their somewhat liek the Core Chimail, except that the Core Chimail are awesome and depends only on the Steel Core. If you have a deck where a DARK monster won't ruin it and revolves around a field spell, you might as well include it. Endymion decks are no where near the meta, but that's one example. Ally of justice don't depend on a field spell, but since all of the Earthbound Immortal's are DARK, it would fit decently.Also, I'm Ferrikpm. Lol, 1200 attack, it's not gonna be sticking around for very long. Inb4 stupid people. I know it's got 1900 defense, but you're gonna want this guy face up so he blocks for your Earthbounds, right? Setting and waiting is a bad idea, because you should never be in a situation where you have to rely on your opponent in order to get your combo working.
