Toffee.
[spoiler=My idea for a "Trigger" gimmic]Obveiously its an edit from Duel Masters, but I like the concept behind it. "Trigger" monsters can be set as spell/trap cards in an open spell/trap card zone, but have the speed of trap cards, in the seance that you have to set them first before you can activate them. You dont need to tribute any monsters if you use a Trigger monster as a spell/trap. No, you cant activate them the turn you set them, unless otherwise stated. If you chose to use a "Trigger" effect, said monster goes to the Graveyard. While a "Trigger" monster is face-down, it is treated as a spell or trap card. Basicly its like a reverse Trap Monster, but offers different tactics. Sky Warrior -WATER-Lvl4[Winged-Beast/Effect]•Trigger: The ATK of all your WATER-Attribute "Sky" monsters is increased by 1000 until the End Phase.•While this card is face-up on the field, you can discard 1 "Sky" monster to increase the ATK of this card by 400 until the End Phase.1700ATK / 400DEF Sky Commandant -WATER-Lvl4[Winged-Beast/Effect]•Trigger: Send 1 WATER-Attribute "Sky" monster from your deck to your Graveyard to draw 1 card.•You can Tribute this card to reveal the top 3 cards of your deck. If there are any "Trigger" monsters among them, you can select 1 of them and reveal it to your opponent to set it on your side of the field as a spell/trap card.1500ATK / 1200DEF Sky Jet -WATER-Lvl2[Winged-Beast/Tuner]•Trigger: If you have at least 3 WATER-Attribute "Sky" monsters in your Graveyard, draw 1 card.•By revealing 1 face-down "Sky" Trigger monster you control to your opponent and sending it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.500ATK / 500DEF Sky Nova -WATER-Lvl5[Winged-Beast/Effect]•Trigger: Destroy 1 face-up monster on the field.•When this card is Summoned, you can discard 1 card to select 1 Trigger monster in your Graveyard and place it face-down in 1 of your Spell/Trap card zones.1800ATK / 1700DEF Horizon Ninja -EARTH-Lvl1[Warrior/Effect]•Trigger: Select 1, level 1 "Ninja" non-Trigger monster from your deck, and Special Summon it to your side of the field in face-down defence position.•By Removing from play 1 "Ninja" monster in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.500ATK / 500DEF Surprise Ninja -EARTH-Lvl1[Warrior/Effect]•Trigger: If you have at least 2 "Ninja" monsters in your Graveyard, Special Summon this card to your side of the field in face-up attack position.900ATK / 200DEF Master Ninja -EARTH-Lvl1[Warrior/Effect]FLIP: Add 1, level 1 "Ninja" monster from your deck to your hand. If a level 1 "Ninja" monster you control battles an opponent's monster, you can Remove this card in your Graveyard from play to have the battling "Ninja" monster gain ATK equal to the ATK or DEF of the opponent's monster, whichever is higher.200ATK / 200DEF Radiowavebox -EARTH-Lvl4[Machine/Tuner]•Trigger: Select 1 face-up monster you control. That monster is treated as a Tuner until the End Phase, and gains 700 ATK.•When this card is Normal Summoned, you can discard 1 Machine-Type monster to draw 1 card.1600ATK / 1600DEF Reckless Rocket -FIRE-Lvl4[Machine/Effect]•Trigger: Special Summon 1, level 3 or lower Machine-Type monster from your hand.600ATK / 900DEF Reload-Trigger -Spell-Select 1 Trigger monster in your Graveyard and place it face-down in an open Spell/Trap card zone you control. That monster cannot be activated this turn. Reverse Trigger -Trap-Activate by chaining this card to a Trigger monster, and selecting it. The selected monster is flipped face-down instead of being sent to the Graveyard. The opponent draws 1. Link to comment
玄魔の王
This reminds me of that mechanic from MTG, what was it called...? Oh well. I like it. 9/10. Link to comment

And I'm not quite sure how this works. I get the Trigger bit, but what's the second bullet all about? Link to comment
Guest Ixigo
I'm guessing the second bullet is the effects they have face-up on the field, when regularly summoned instead of placed as Traps. The idea is good, but the actual effects are so lackluster and weak. Those cards are really not worth using, either as monsters or Trap cards. They either need further support, or some rework, otherwise they're just monsters with sub-par effects that can be used as Trap cards with sub-par effects. Link to comment
