Ruling: You cannot activate the effect of "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" which Special Summons itself during the Damage Step when a monster is destroyed by battle. You cannot activate the effect in chain to an effect like "Giant Rat" or "Nimble Momonga" when a Beast-Type monster is destroyed by battle. how do i summon it then?when a beast type on my field is destroyed by effect of card or something? So lets discuss this if baboon has a new future. of course the ruling has changed that baboon doenst work in the battle phase anymore, (a shame) Cards to look at. Destruction Potion: Destroy 1 monster on your side of the field and gain LP equal its ATKHypnocorn: If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters when this card is Normal Summoned, destroy 1 Set Spell or Trap Card.Playfull Possom: If your opponent controls a face-up monster with higher ATK than this card, you can destroy this card. Outside the Damage Step or whatever when it is destroyed by a card effect or something. That ruling lets it be at 3 without causing problems. And yes. Q & A thread next time.
