Removal Decks

Not to forget having a lucky hand like

Cheerful coffin' date=' DAD, [insert 3 super powerful no requirements DARK monsters here'] dimension fusion = FTW

Cheerful Coffin is a horrid card. A -4 and even though DAD is pretty much an automatic +3, it still doesn't offset that disadvantage. Also, Dimension Fusion is banned and has been since the May 2008 Banlist.

KEY WORDS for Infernities

KEY WORDS. You're doing it wrong.

...

Please...

Can we get a rule added to stop calling everything involving a discard something to do with Infernities?

I second that.

Just because Infernities operate best with no hand, it doesn't mean that it should run stuff like that.

Anyway. Get back on topic. This is about Removal Decks.

Not to forget having a lucky hand like

Dark Grepher' date=' DAD, [insert [b']2[/b] super powerful no requirements DARK monsters here] Return From the Different Dimension and some other random card (such as Starlight Road) = FTW

Fix'd.

As for removal decks, I find such a heavy reliance on Continuous Spells and Traps (Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos) annoying. this is why i don't play Crystal Beasts anymore, even though they should be banned mainly because they are one of the bests decks.

Odd, my removal Decks have never run Fissure or Cosmos.

oh really?

Oh wait, they use the Banishers (or just Radiance), don't they?

Sorry, the last Macro Monarch I saw (at the Shining Darkness Sneak preview) ran Macro, D. Fissure, Banisher of the radiance, D.D. Scout Plane, etc.

I find this deck style very satisfying and entertaining, despite being easy to side against. if you know what they're going to side against you, you can side counters against them. besides, nothing says "you'll never keep that Imperial Iron Wall out for long" like 3 Mobius's.

Well' date=' if you side 3 Mobius I shall side 3 Walls and meet you HEAD ON!

is that the only anti-RFP though? I thought there were more, but I cannot recall them

[/quote']

it's the biggest and best one. there are more that i can't rememeber, but im sure they aren't directly 'hurr durr you cant remove stuff anymore' like IIW.

of course, there's always mad amounts of spell and trap removal, seeing as RFP needs continuous spells/traps to function, save for the two banishers.
