Naturia are so weird (DISC Naturia Barkion)

Naturia Balkion

Dragon/Synchro/Effect

1 EARTH Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner EARTH monsters

You can remove from play 2 cards in your Graveyard to negate the activation of a Trap Card and destroy it.

If this gets released as Balkion, it's like 'Parshath' all over again.

But seriously, folks, the main reason I brought this guy up is because WC10 decided this guy can activate his effect multiple times in the same chain. WTF?

whats so weird about it?

Btw, it's effect can be activated multiple times in the same chain (as long as your graveyard has enough cards)

My mistake, forgot to post the effect. It's up now.

OK, bit if it can activate multiple times in the chain, why can't Horus? Or LaDD?

I recall that Horus CAN activate multiple times in a chain, as for LADD...I'm not sure what the ruling/reasoning for that is. But remember that LADD negates your effects too, and you can activate your effects if you chain to LADD, making that "weakness" an opportunity spot.

So are they going for a theme here? Naturia Negation? Beast fuels the Graveyard by negating Spells' date=' while Barkion feeds on the sent cards to negate Traps. What next? Discarding 2 cards to negate monster effects?

Just one spell, actually.

That dragon/cat thing is kind of cute, actually, and it's effect is just full of holes, despite its versatility.

As for Balkion, Beast and Landoise, I love them; they'll be fantastic fun to play.

I can't actually picture running a Naturia deck around them, though.

Gadgets? Machinas? Warriors, perhaps?
