*headdesk* Trap Dustshoot?

You used Trap Dustshoot in an RP...

Actually, you just used it WRONG. The correct way to use a card specifically timed to activate before they do anything is to use the Trap before they even TRY to make a move (at the end of YOUR move), especially when there's nothing they can do. It's less awkward.

A card that lets you see your opponent's hand is also, at least in my opinion, a twinge overpowering for one reason: Your opponent must respond by revealing what's in their hand. Even if they don't (via a post), your character should now know everything that's in their hand. Falling for their traps now makes no sense unless you're specifically baiting them. You should know their strategy for the next turn and be able to read their move with ease. Nick will not be doing that unless Zai reveals Kane's cards to the public (because you're not Zai).

That would be along the lines of Mind Crush. Trap Dustshoot insists you look at their hand before picking a monster.

But Kane making his whole move is what the problem is with using a hand-affecting Trap during the Draw Phase.

I more find it annoying because it's so...well, STUPID. If it was a RL duel, it'd be fine (because...it's RL. Duels are luck of draw/skill), but I assume that everyone improvises the cards they have in hand or facedown (or have a general idea of what they'll be). Why anyone in this scenario would improvise Trap Dustshoot over...Bottomless Trap Hole, for example, I'm not sure, and the added effect of hand peeking looks twice as bizarre in an RP, again because most f/ds are improvised.

It's also possible I just like to complain because there are some effects I feel are bad/OPed in an RP scenario (and I'm not fond of Dustshoot in a RL scenario). Though avoiding an awkward scene like this is why I had Madeline use Aoi to beat Kane instead of waiting.

Evil, I know how to use my cards, thank you. Not to mention, I'm not new to this OR Zai's deck. I know the exact strategy he's going for and the most important thing was to get rid of the creator right then and there, and since evidence was already provided that he had the card in his hand, you should buzz off.

Honestly, that irritates me to no end. Let ME duel. Not you lecture me on what you think I did wrong. Keep your nose out of it.

Meep, I've tried to come into the story, but I think the colors are repelling others.

Unless I didn't read correctly, Saviero made his presence known, stated he was going to side with O.E, challenged the 4 of the E-6 that were there, and then was completely excluded from any duels or confrontations beyond that point...

Honestly? You blokes have 0 dedication and patience.

Wasn't it a freaking holiday for you guys yesterday? Chill out, honestly. Not to mention, you can't blame Zaifire for having to scramble, YET AGAIN, because you brain surgeons though it would be a great idea to congregate.

Honestly Fusion, there was no reason for you to push Madeline and Tyson into the area, as well as Cake and Blu-Dawn. JZ was already really close and Nick needed a partner, so it made sense, but to have ALL THE OTHER SINS THERE just made no sense. There wasn't even anything worth doing there for them!

You could have focused on development and flushing rather than coming over and stabbing a steak knife through the back of the rp. I, personally, completely exclude Zaifire from all applicable blame, because he HAS to provide plot movement or something like THIS will happen, or NOTHING AT ALL will happen.

I hadn't realized independent thinking was so hard to do now a day.
