Like qm9a7 said, mods are basically members that keep an eye on their assigned forum to make sure everyone is following the rules. What Donovan said was to avoid people that aren't moderators but act like they are. They didn't say to ignore the actual mods. For a list of them, check the Forum Team at the bottom of the forum index. Anyway, welcome to YCM.
