The Bacterium Empire's Manual to your ship. (Guide to B.E.S.)

The Bacterium Empire Ships are a diverse group of cards that rely on counters to protect them. They should never be used up against Meta decks for they will lose. They are only meant for fun and casual duels......for now. Their only good support card is also their worst. Boss Rush. With Boss Rush, their speed is near godly, but easy to make them grind to a halt.

 

2 reasons why Boss Rush will grind them to a halt:

 

1: It'll use up all of the B.E.S. in the deck.

 

2: You can't Normal Summon.

 

The main goal of the usual B.E.S. deck is to have at least 1 B.E.S. out on the field and 1 or multiple amounts of Boss Rushes out. It doesn't matter if the B.E.S. monster is on your side or your Opponent's, all that matters is that Boss Rush is out. When you have a B.E.S. and Boss Rush out, you MUST focus on getting that thing downed by attacking or being attacked. If one dies, another will replace it. Or if you have multiple amounts of Boss Rush out, then it'll start to swarm. Remember, the more Boss Rushes out, the greater the risk, but the greater the rewards for losing 1 B.E.S. in return for 3.

 

Example of when 3 Boss Rushes are out and 1 B.E.S. is out:

 

Player 1: Big Core, attack Shura!

Player 2: I Kalut it and then Special Summon another Shura from my deck!

*Big Core is downed*

Player 1: Thanks to Boss Rush, I Special Summon 3 Big Core MK 2 from my deck! Your turn!

Player 2: I activate Lightning Vortex!

Player 1: Thanks to Boss Rush, I Special Summon Big Core, 2 B.E.S. Tetran, B.E.S. Crystal Core, and B.E.S. Covered Core!

 

 

This is my first guide, and my try to enlighten you to the arcane art of using teh B.E.S. cards.

 

First of all the cards.

 

Generally, you want cards that'll provide monsters without Normal Summoning.

 

Cards such as the Trap monsters, monsters that Special Summon when a card is discarded, and other types that SS when needed are required for these decks. Main reason is due to the deck's main power and weakness, Boss Rush.

NOTE: You do not need to use every card on this list or use it for the reason stated. Use what makes sense.

 

 

Cyber Dragon: Use in 2s. The reason is quite simple. He provides a free monster and a tribute. Use him however you like, but tribute only if your sure you can pull off using the Boss Rush. He is also important in bringing out key monsters in the deck.

 

The Tricky: Use in 1s or 2s. The reason is same with Cyber Dragon, but with a cost. But mostly used for a tribute.

 

Big Core: Used only in 2s in this deck. He's only good for Boss Rush and nothing more.

 

B.E.S. Tetran: Personally, I would use another monster since to me, this guy is useless. But I still use him in 1s since his effect might come in handy.

 

B.E.S. Crystal Core: Use sparingly. This guy's effect is good, the only downside to him is his attack points. Use in 2s.

 

B.E.S. Covered Core: Use him only when needed or when Boss Rush is out. His high attack (B.E.S. wise) is useful and needed. Use in 1s or 2s.

 

B.E.S. Big Core MK-2: Great card is great. He's designed to be used with or without Boss Rush. Use in 3s.

 

Soul Exchange: Use in 3s. Nothing is better then using your opponent's own monsters to summon a Core. Nothing.

 

Brain Control: Same with Soul Exchange.

 

Creature Swap: Use in 2s if able. Use only when your have Boss Rush or when a Core has only 1 shield (counter) left. Highly situational.

 

Embodiment of Apophis: Use in 2s if able. He provides defense and a tribute fodder.

 

Zoma the Spirit: Use in 2s if able. Same as Apophis.

 

Stronghold the Moving Fortress: Use in 2s. He's a wall and a tribute.

 

Boss Rush: Use 3 if making a Boss Rush deck. The power and weakness in the deck. With this, you'll SS like crazy. But the down side you can't normal summon. This is the reason with all the SS monsters.

 

Plague Spreader: Keep this guy only when you want to synchro.

 

ChimeraTech Fortress Dragon: Use when the time comes my friend.

 

Pot of Avarice: Godly in this deck. You'll have alot of B.E.S. and other monsters in the grave. Use when you need to and run in 3s. Trust me.

 

Pot of Generosity: When you have Boss Rush out and you have B.E.S. monsters in your hand, you know when to use this card.

 

Future Vision: It'll win you the game if you do it. Trust me.

 

Call of the Haunted: Useful for getting out a Core when you need it the most.

 

Mausoleum: Run in 2s. It'll help. It summons them without the need of a tribute so it'll help ALOT.

 

Perfect Machine King: Use only if you want to. He'll never see play that much. Use in 2s if you do want to use him.

 

Limit Removal: Use only when your sure you can push for the win or when Boss Rush is out.

 

Machiner's Peacekeeper: Use in 2s if able. It'll protect the B.E.S. for 1 turn from it's own effect.

 

Machiner's Gear Walker: Same as Peacekeeper.

 

Oilman: Use in 2s. He provides a 1 draw if your able to kill, and protects it from it's own effect.

 

 

 

 

Add more if you think it's a lil too sort.
