CrabHelmet
I don't feel like having this discussion with you again. I've already made it perfectly clear in the past that I simply don't care about the whole "perfect format"' date=' "good format" or "ideal format" arguments and such, I try to be realistic. Realistically, all nukes won't be illegalized anytime soon. Starlight Road pretty much confirms that point.[/quote'] If you're trying to be realistic, then you've no business discussing whether Gorz should be at 0 or 3 or whether it's broken or underpowered or anything else of the sort. After all, realistically speaking, you can't change Gorz's position anyhow, so all you can say is that it's a strong card and it is legal. Which means that, if you're trying to be purely realistic with in the constraints of advanced format, you shouldn't even be responding to arguments for where cards should and shouldn't be. burnpsy
Haven't you heard' date=' SLR has all but killed nukes.[/quote'] Starlight Road doesn't stop mass-bouncing, however. How many mass-bounce cards do we have. I can only think of Trunade. Off the top of my head: Mist WurmBrionac all you can say is that it's a strong card and it is legal. I see what you're saying' date=' but what part of my arguments have been anything but that? I basically respond to banlist arguments with the whole "I can't change it [b']BUT YOU CAN'T EITHER[/b]." argument.
Guest PikaPerson01
Don't attack with your strongest monster. Congrats' date=' you've just played around Gorz![/quote'] This assumes:1) Your strongest monster can outmuscle Gorz itself.2) Your opponent doesn't see through your strategy and summons Gorz at their first opportunity.3) You can manage to get more then one monster on the field at a time. (Bottomless, Torrential, etc.) Alternatively' date=' Colossal Fighter, which should be in every Extra Deck, stops Gorz. If the Token's ATK is the same as it, crash into the token, revive it and hit Gorz.[/quote'] I dueled recently as the set up for this story. My opponent had Goyo Guardian and Colossal Fighter ready. He attacked into my open field with Goyo, expecting exactly what you set up in the previous example, however what he didn't reckon with was the fact that I wasn't a complete idiot, and summoned my token in defense. CrabHelmet
I basically respond to banlist arguments with the whole "I can't change it BUT YOU CAN'T EITHER." argument. Which means that you should just stay out of banlist arguments instead of jumping into them with THE ENTIRE EXISTENCE OF THIS DEBATE SUCKS AND I HATE YOU ALL. You're actually misunderstanding my point by quite a large margin. My point is that there debates have no real meaning. There's more than a fine line between that and the bolded. CrabHelmet
You're actually misunderstanding my point by quite a large margin. My point is that there debates have no real meaning. There's more than a fine line between that and the bolded. It makes no difference; if you do not personally care for banlist debates, then don't post in them. There's no need to go and interject into each and every one. I don't see you going into every topic in Custom Cards interjecting that the topic is meaningless because the card will never be printed; into every topic in Fan Fics interjecting that the topic is meaningless because the story will never be officially published; and into every topic in Music interjecting that nobody's opinions there matter because the artist will never read them. Thank you, Captain Obvious, but we already know that our banlist discussions will not impact Konami's actual official list - and we do not care. Guest PikaPerson01
My point is that there debates have no real meaning. If you believe our debates to be meaningless' date=' you can leave at any point. I personally show up everyday because I enjoy the debates and enjoy the intellectual challenge. If I can convince someone as thick as [insert name of your favourite troll here'] to run something my way, then I surmise I have some grasp of the subject I'm talking about. After all, the best way to prove your knowledge on a subject is to teach someone else about it.
Azuh
Pro players never declare attacks until they draw Mind Crush. I would so laugh if Mind Crush is at the bottom of your Deck
