Although new members may create posts that could be solved easily by looking at the rules or having basic knowledge, it is the duty of a decent member of the forums to politely inform the new member of what they have done wrong and move on.

Also, it would be nearly impossible to police all the new members in the first place.

That would be spamming, which is against the rules, which is what you guys are bitching about noobs doing, so no.

 

Noobs will always be in YCM. There is no changing that.

 

However, you can help them succeed rather than shunning them off.

I might add one little thing. You say you've been browsing this forums for say 4 years now right? Well then you should have known that mostly all new members have terrible grammar and thus you could have prepared for that when you started posting here. Obviously you failed at that so we assumed that you were just another noob, new member, newbie etc.

 

Also I might add that your registration date dates back to 2007 which is not 4 years it is only 3 years and if I am correct this forum wasn't even made back in 2006 I think it may have been december but still close enough to 2007.

This won't work. Side from trying to work this kind of system just because you've read 100 cards won't make you a pro at making cards.

 

Not only that but joke cards belong in the joke card thread, or if they aren't that "jokey" in Any Other Cards. If their posted out side of those threads they will be moved or locked so you really shouldn't even care about them.

Truth is, TC, new members have no idea what goes on with this site, and jump at the urge to make a tardy fail-card.

Its because there are no limits to what the card maker lets you create, especially if you also have image editing software.

 

So even though they "try" to be creative, its basicly the same stuff we get on a daily basis.

Since the same-old Shoop Teh Woop card is always the same as the next Gravity Cat, Super Toilet, Momma Luigi, Sparta-Man card, etc, etc.
