The Original was awesome, Zeo was great, Turbo was OMGWTFISTHISAWESOMESHIT, and then in Space was fun to watch to.

 

Dino Thunder could've been better, but was good, same with Ninja force.

 

Lightspeed Rescue and Lost Galaxy were alright.

 

I stopped watching it after it went stupid though.

I find it interesting you guys are in love with the season of power rangers that almost killed the entire series for how much it sucked.

I never even bothered to watch much of the refuse that I saw in Turbo. In the future i do suggest that you take special care not to generalize in your accusations of poor taste. Why for one horrible instant I dared imagine that you put me in the same class as these peasants.

Yes this is one of the power rangers. So lets see how well my version shapes up.

 

First of all the sentai is originally a parody, despite this I belive we should try for a more serious outlook so if you want a parody I may make one later.

 

First is Divatox’s origins, she’s a whiny space pirate and tbh she kinda is stupid because of it. Therefore while she keeps her space pirate theme she has a different reason for being around, she is not only a pirate but also on of Dark Sector’s goons in his evil alliance or what not. Dark Sector knows she is not the strongest but he hires her to take out the rangers as she won’t take much out of his assault forces and be able to distract the rangers while Dark Sector conquers the rest of the galaxy. As thus Divatox has no desire to conquer the world but rather attacks angel grove so she can lure the rangers out. Rita and Zedd are not fighting because by defeating the Machine Empire they actually proved themselves to be superior to most of the Evil League, even Vile, therefore Dark Sector enlists them to conquer the more important galaxies.

 

First movie she personally does this and faces off against the rangers, the battle starts to go poorly for her because of the rangers awesome zeo powers but while the rangers are busy fighting her she manages to infect tommy’s red zeo morpher with a sortof virus and flees. The virus infects the morphing grid through the morpher and saps power from the grid and sends it directly to Divatox’s ship. Because of this Divatox can use the grid as well as the power rangers and thus by tapping into it’s power manages to turn the tables. With no other way to even the score the power rangers are forced to shut down the grid to keep Divatox from being able to use it, thus they turn to the “Turbo morphers” which were made by, oddly enough, Bulk and Skull who were sent to france in the Zeo series because the NU wanted to develop ranger technology to help combat these foreign threats, (this project is what eventually causes the Lightspeed, timeforce, and the other morphers of government sanctioned teams to exist) as bulk and skull knew the most about the power rangers (to the government’s knowledge) since they actively seeked out the rangers and etc, they were brought along as consultants. Using Bulk and Skull’s knowledge the NU were able to make half functioning morphers and zoids, but only half. Bulk and skull were sent back when they finished giving all information on the power rangers that they knew to the goveremnt.

 

So B&S had their own copies of these ranger plans, since Bulk and Skull are idiots they wind up bragging about it when the rangers ask where they went. Tommy asks if he can borrow the plans saying “he’ll make sure the rangers find it” or something akin. Naturally he instead shows it to Zordon who finishes the zords with alpha as well as the morphers. Thus the turbo rangers.

The turbo rangers are each independently powered so the same leech trick won’t work since all it would do is damage one morpher and then Zorodn would simply be able to make a new one, as far as divatox knows anyway.Thus Divatox can be fought on even ground, unfortunately the turbo rangers are weaker then the zeo due to laking the powers that the zeo crystal possessed.

 

Oh and Rocky is still taken out of the rangers for a injury, one he took to save the rangers from Divatox when she was about to finish them with her Zeo buff. Thus there is a new blue ranger, who unfortunately is Justin. I can’t assume they had the budget to get a different actor and even if I could idk any good actors for this role. Justin however is not as skilled a fighter as the others, by a lot and has a bit more trouble taking things seriously, but he still tries and etc, etc, so he is a bit of the comic relief of the team.

 

Then the movie ends with a big speech after a really cool fight scene with Divatox and a speech and so on but those are the plot points that happen in the story.

 

So because the rangers are now adults they frequently have to deal with problems because of their life being overloaded, thus leading to hjinks as they try to balance their lives. Unfortunately they don’t and have to discard their ranger powers and move on, for the big team swap that Turbo was infamous for, the new rangers were revealed to have been noticed by Zordon for some time and he deemed them worthy of taking the mantle. These characters also appear earlier in various fillers in the season so this makes sense. They have trouble figuring out their roles but eventually get the hang of it.

 

Blue Centurion was badass enough to stay exactly as he is. As is Havok. Eldar or whoever that loser’s name was, does not exist.

 

The phantom ranger’s origin is revealed this time, he’s actually from the future where the power rangers lost and Dark Sector took over everything. He made the phantom ranger armor from pieces of the broken turbo morphers and Blue Centurion and then went to the past to alter the course of history. He’s actually Skull, Bulk having died earlier trying to stop the villians, something that Skull regrets having not helped him with. He disappears from existence at the end of Space since his future no longer exists.

 

Either way Zordon also leaves because Zedd is attacking his home world, (thought he does not reveal this since he does not want to worry the rangers, so rather he says it’s just important) so the female Socrates chick replaces him, alpha stays however.

 

Socralady actually realizes that Divatox is her sister, which distresses her, in addition she askes questions so the rangers can learn for themselves in order to make up for their lack of experience, if pressed enough she will give a straight answer.

 

So then the final episode, in this Dark Sector sends one of his ace goons after the rangers, to finish them off. This monster is incredibly powerful and has wiped out other planets single handedly. Despite this he is barely defeated but at the cost of the megazords.

 

Then Divatox, realizing she has the edge, goes and and straight out attacks the power center. She also has taken her mother’s weapons, which were sent to her along with the goon. The weapons are a cutlass and a flintlock naturally. Divatox proves to be a much more capable opponent when armed and faces the turbo rangers on near even ground while the power center is swarmed. The center is totaled but Divatox is ordered to pull back. She however reassembles her troops for a final push which the power rangers know they won’t be able to stand against but before she can she is ordered to retreat since the base is to totaled for the rangers to be a threat anymore and she is not allowed to conquer Earth herself under league rules, the territory was to be divided AFTER the universe was conquered to prevent infighting. The rangers, with the exception of Justin who stays behind, goes after her on the experimental ship in turbo. The dark tone is lightened when the government finds the ruins of the power station and say that while the rangers did a good job, now it’s their chance to make a difference. (This will slightly alter what happens in future seasons but still)

 

So yeah that’s my few cents, may elaborate later, probably not.
